This is my second refurbished think pad from this company, absolutely does what it says on the tin. Reliable, arrived well packaged, would use this provider again.

The original order went wrong because the change from Windows 10 to 7 was not done before delivery and I was not capable of making the change with the disc that was sent. I sent it back and they changed it to 7. At the same time the screen had to be changed. That should have been checked at the beginning. It still did not work because they had not installed the drivers necessary to gain access to the web. I had to employ my local computer expert to complete the transition. The laptop itself was good quality and now all the problems are solved I am pleased with it. They were always friendly and willing to help with the problems.

My old laptop was looking tired I have had several refurbished laptops from Val-U, usually from the low end of their range, and each has given good years of service. I run Linux, so can often make good use of something which struggles with contemporary windows. This time I wanted a less retro spec: decent hi-res screen and 8GB memory. I'd not found what I needed online, so took to the phone, talked to Val-U and got it sorted. Thanks very much. I'm mean about ratings, giving 5-* only for something exceptional. Val-U might have got that except their web site is hard to search (to be fair, so are their competitors, often more flashy but no more helpful!) So a great company, but use your phone!

Great service. The Optiplex looks like new, not a mark on it. Set up went without a hitch and the performance with the extra RAM and SSD is every bit as good as I had hope. Highly recommended.

Keyboard not very good, does not work every time I am writing. Quite slow when turning on and off. I wanted to send it back but my daughter was the one that dealt with ordering for me and she had thrown the packaging away. She was stressing out about it so I just decided to use it until I can afford a new one.

The computer came within 2 days of ordering and so far is brilliant, would recommend.

Always very helpful and they don't try to sell you things you don't need, well recommended and will definitely use again.
