While the communication could have been better - I actually got everything sooner than anticipated, and the men who moved all my stuff were amazing! They unpacked everything carefully, got my table up, and for two men to get through all my things in the timely manner they did - I am impressed. I have globally moved several times, and this was very smooth!
Shipment communication is available every week about the status It arrived safely to the final destination with out any damages or discrepancies Time duration is not long to reach the final destination Sini and other team members did great job in following up the status until the shipment reaches to the destination

Missing Shipment / Problem in Claim Processing Shipped 4 boxes from Chennai to Austin. Delivered only 3. Missing box is weighing more than 100 pounds and is part of a whole set which was in the other 3. Now, without the missing box, we can't use the other. No proper action / responses despite multiple calls and follow-ups in both Chennai and Texas offices. Insurance claim also processed only for the missing piece. They are not willing to process it for replacement cost which is agreed to in the Insurance policy. Very very poor experience. Will NEVER recommend Universal Relocations to anyone.

The service is awesome. Boxes received in the same condition it was picked up. Giving 3 star as port charges was conveyed as INR 1000 per box and was charged more as the ship destination port changed on time because of port congestion.
The box received was in good condition after 4 months of transit. The service was good! Improvement area - Timing for delivery need to improve. I am still waiting for my 6 boxes shipped 5 months back
I was partially moving some of my household items from Bay Area California to Chennai. Universal Relocations gave me the best deal. they oversaw all the legalities. The crew arrived on time to pack all my stuff. They meticulously packed everything and safely delivered to my home in chennai. The crew here also unpacked everything safely, cleared all the packing materials. Highly recommend Universal Relocations.
They delivered all the goods safely. Everyone involved in the process (Richard, Shahbaz, Keerthana, Thiagarajan, and others) were helpful and communicative. Only main qualm from my end was that the delivery took longer than expected due to shipping delays, but that was probably out of their control.
Very pathetic timeline. Took four months from payment made to package received. Also extra payment was charged as port charge. This wS never mentioned earlier. Will not recommend this service.
Madhusudhan was awesome to work with and very efficient in his communication. Was thrilled that he took over the shipping after the initial fiasco with the customer Sales Rep. 1) Highly recommend Universal for door-door movements. 2) Their Sales and Customer services could improve a lot with their communication and integrity levels. 3) Do not be surprised if your belongings get "lost" once it reaches your address. The Indian team said they were present all the time when the freight was opened and yet 6-7 of my items including expensive shoes and tennis rackets went missing. When I posed the question to their lead in Bengaluru, he reprimanded me and said it was my mistake that I wasn't there during customs inspection (After he specifically told me not to bother since he would take care of everything).
It was a very professional service that delivered all my goods intact from los angeles to kanyakumari. They accommodated my change in address without any hassles.
