Tutorcruncher has been great for tracking lessons/payments/clients and tutors. It is easy to use and you can usually find what you need from the user guide if you get stuck. The only reason for 4 stars out of 5 is that I was hoping for a bit more personal assistance in the beginning (I felt I needed a training session), as it took me a while floundering around on my own before I felt confident with it. The help I got from Daniel was good, but took time to get back to me as he is a busy man.

TutorCruncher has been a game changing platform for my agency. AT first I was sceptical and not sure how this would work but the more I familiarised myself with what it had to offer the easier life got. No more time wasted in writing invoices and chacing payments, it does it all for you

TutorCruncher is an outstanding system. I would quite honestly not be interested in running a tutoring company without it – it makes everything so easy and frees up time for the important elements such as growing the business. It takes care of the day-to-day administration seamlessly. A huge shout out to Sam who supports with any queries: he is fast, organised and supportive. He is also a pleasure to deal with. Thank you!

Edit2: I decided to update the review from 3/5 to 5/5 because of Raashi's support with another bug. Raashi, you're the best! Edit1: Tutor Cruncher did reach out and tried to solve the problems. They fixed the credit requests. Nevertheless, the most pressing issue of random changes in my settings still remains unsolved. review updated from 1/5 to 3/5. absolutely rubbish service: email templates change without me changing anything, failed payment emails don't get sent, credit requests don't work properly, and it all comes at a hefty price from tutor cruncher who is most of the time unable to help.

Great for small companies operating in one country. It helped us a lot to automate applications and accounting, invoices. Also the system checks whether the classroom is free, that also helps us a lot. The system has still many things to work on so it can work for international companies as well. The biggest challenge for us was that it can only be in one language and we have multilingual audience. Some clients and teachers find it complicated and it was interesting to find out that to write an email you have to learn simple coding :) but it works for us and we are glad we have it, because there are more pros than cons.

Whilst TutourCruncher might make life easier for tutoring agencies, for the tutors themselves it's just unnecessary hassle for us we just don't need. We have to wait from nearly 2 to 4 weeks to receive payment for lessons, even with a 'manual' payout and this is without software glitches, as recently, which delay payout even further.

Tutorcruncher has been really useful in a lot of ways - particularly in dealing with invoicing and the accounting side of things. I also find it useful for keeping all of the tutor and student information stored in one place. Lastly, the team has been very supportive and responded to my emails in good time. However, there are quite a few things which I don't like so much about Tutorcruncher. 1. You can't really call the support team when you have a problem - they work mostly via online chat and email. You can book a video call with someone in advance but it looks quite formal and it's not the same as just being able to call up a support line. There is, nevertheless, a phone number to call, but whenever I tried it was just an automated voice message saying I should raise a support ticket. 2. You can't schedule lessons in an intuitive way - it's not like Calendly where you can view someone's schedule/availability and select a time that suits both parties, which would be really useful. 3. Tutors and students can't communicate with each other on the platform! I was shocked when I found this out, because what is the point of connecting tutors and students when you a) don't provide suitable scheduling options for lessons and b) don't let them communicate with each other via the platform? Instead you have to provide them with each other's contact details and they end up organising lessons outside of Tutorcruncher. 4. My client who is both a student and paying client was confused by the set up (and rightfully so) in which she had two separate profiles - one where she could act as 'student' and access her lessons, and another where she could act as 'client' and set up her payment details. It would be much easier if there were a separate option for this type of client to have their own type of profile where they can do everything they need to do on one page. 5. I personally found the whole platform rather unintuitive and convoluted. You have to read a handful of their 'help' articles to set up each process (payment taking method, video call options, 'jobs', accounting options), and even then a few things are still left unexplained so you end up needing to contact the support team anyway. All in all, I started my tutoring company very recently, and I decided to use Tutorcruncher from the get-go to reduce my workload. Maybe if I had tried going it alone, without using a tutor management software, I would have more appreciation for Tutorcruncher's processes and support, but in my opinion there is much to be improved upon.
