We at The Lounge Co. know what makes a great sofa. We’ve got the best furniture makers in the country for starters; we’re part of a group which includes Parker Knoll, G Plan and Duresta, and have been making fantastic quality sofas and chairs for decades - it’s safe to say we know our stuff. Our craftsmen have tested and tweaked every one of our twelve sofas and six chairs over and over again to get them just right. Our frames are thoroughly thought through, made in the UK and guaranteed for 10 years.

While I understand the shopping experience has changed in this "new normal", The Lounge Co is going to the extreme. First, the front door at the Chiswick location is locked. You have to stand there and wait until someone sees you to open the door. Then it's unlocked and you enter. The door is locked immediately behind you. This is a fire hazard. Your temperature is taken which is clearly a show as you can be asymptomatic and have the virus so taking a temperature accomplishes nothing. You are told to use hand sanitiser-pretty normal. But then you are asked to wear plastic gloves. Seriously?!? I want to touch a sofa or chair that I'm buying. Not touch it with plastic gloves. There is spray that can be sprayed regularly on the furniture if you feel COVID germs are on the furniture. I can sit on the furniture in shorts and a Tshirt so my exposed skin is touching the fabric but I cannot actually touch it with my hands for fear of spreading COVID. Total rubbish. I've been to many furniture shops during the "new normal" and never have I experienced this behaviour. Finally, I wanted fabric swatches and had to ask someone from behind the till-seems to be the gathering spot for the staff. I asked for GPlan swatches and told I have to order from GPlan's website...ok, why are you selling their furniture if you can't provide samples. Sorry, I won't be back and I cannot recommend you.

I am delighted with my Lounge Company sofas! They are beautiful, excellent quality and so comfortable. The service received from the Lounge Company has been exemplary, from placing the order, customer service (during lockdown) and finally delivery communication has been excellent. Thank you!

So happy with my two new sofas! Very comfortable. I first saw the sofa in Ely’s department store in Wimbledon. The staff there were really helpful. I then placed my order over the phone and spoke to a lovely lady. The delivery was great too. All I had to do was put on the feet which was easy! Would recommend. Saving up for a matching footstool now!

Very pleased with the quality of my chair from The Lounge Company. Ordered during lockdown, therefore was not able to see the product in store before ordering. Delivery was sooner than expected, excellent customer service, all in all a very happy customer. Thank you.

Superb service from start to finish! The staff in The Lounge Co shop in Chiswick were friendly and helpful when we visited to look at furniture. Attentive but not overbearing. The ordering process was well handled from start to finish. We were kept advised by email and phone as to what was going to happen and anticipated timescales. Delivery was also spot on: confirmation by email of delivery by email was followed up by a couple of texts and a final call by telephone from the guys that delivered. Along with the rest of our experience the two guys that delivered were brilliant. Faultless experience throughout.

I would have liked to give 5* for this review as I love the sofas we purchased, but the seat stuffing is absolute rubbish. We asked the guy in the Chiswick shop for the stuffing that needs the least plumping,well if that is what we got I would hate to see the other stuffing. We are constantly plumping up the sofas and I mean we have to do it every time we sit on them. We only had them delivered Feb/March and I'm already wondering if I can get them reupholstered or add some extra foam somehow. Such a shame. DONT get the feather wrapped foam stuffing.

Fab customer service when ordering and we received the sofa 2 months before they said it would be ready which was a huge bonus! We ordered the navy blue velvet Melody and it’s gorgeous, so big and cosy.

Woeful customer service, original order on January of three items, one arrived damaged and a replacement wasn't delivered until the end of July. Unacceptable.

Whilst it was unfortunate that coronavirus hit the uk in the middle of our sofa being made and delivered, I was hoping and expecting more from the lounge co. First of all the delivery was cancelled which was fair enough but then there was no update or information without having to repeatedly email. They were very delayed in starting deliveries again when so many other companies were delivering throughout the pandemic. There was no offer of a discount/refund for the inconvenience and being left without a sofa for 5 months during lockdown which was a nightmare. The sofa itself is great quality and lovely but expected more from a service point of view.

I purchased sofas which arrived at the end of February 2020. They’re for mine and my partners first dream home together. We purchased a Phoebe 2 and 3 seater in African Saphire, the most expensive and premium fabric that the firm offers. After having the sofas for a month they started to look extremely worn, the fabric has faded, they have no shape whatsoever. After contacting the firm expressing our concerns, a technician was sent round to inspect them. The technician agreed that the sofas should not be in the state that they currently are. Yet lounge co simply said to us that we needed to plump the cushions. Little did they know, we have been plumping cushions the whole time. Yet they still have no shape and have lost their colour already. I am appalled at the quality of the sofas and for them to look the way they do after such a short amount of time, I am disgusted in their condition. These are not fit for purpose products or worth the money.

I would like to say your company kept me fully informed during lock down, When speaking to staff all were pleasant. Delivery again kept up to date. All delivered on time and we'll packaged and carefully put into house. Very pleased so far with suite. Finally a thank you to all staff at The Lounge Co.Hope all work has restarted. Good communication throughout - delivery was delayed by Covid pandemic but otherwise as expected - great product which we have now enjoyed for around 2 weeks.

Very good experience. Difficult times but sofa was delivered and we love it.
