The team that I spoke to ranging from the call handler Mia to Joe were fantastic and i did not feel at all judged. They were very empathetic to my plight and would recommend these guys all day everyday.

When you call, the first hold you are placed on is infuriating, waiting for 10 mins on hold and listening to the same automated voice repeat every 4 seconds the same message is anger inducing. Then the hold music is quiet and the extreemly loud, unnesassary. Its as if this is structured to encourage irritation to make you hang up ! Also calling and reexplaining your situation to every single person you are transferred to is a waste of time. It should be documented and read before taking the transfered call. Additionally , i emailed weeks before and that seemed to go unread and was also not on my file notes. The overall IVA was missold to me initially as i was not told at any point that it would impact my ability to obtain other required services for example car insurance for which i have to either pay the full amount annually as monthly is not an option or have a family member hold a policy to which i am a named driver on my own car ! For 3rd party insurance only because the insurance is unbelievably expensive due to the iva, i have called and been told this by Admiral directly! The IVA concept gives you hope initially as you are in a bad situation so you agree to the IVA and now are stuck in a situation thats not as bad financially but you essentially suffer in different ways. I would not reccomment taking an IVA , just call and speak to your creditors. What they will do is 70% less terrible than the impact of an IVA.

At first it was easy to set up, they took regular payments and all seemed fine. 2 years into the agreement I had a bereavement and inherited enough money to clear my debt, I duly informed them and was told that on top of settlement and service fees they would take a percentage of my inheritance to. Absolutely disgusting. I paid up. That was 8 months ago and I still have no closure on my debts. I am now going to take legal action as their incompetence is leaving me unable to get a credit rating so I am going to become homeless. I advise anyone thinking of using this company to go elsewhere. They are a scam in my opinion. Update, please see the post below from creditfix and note I have already messaged their customer services and had no reply. Shows them to be even more useless.
