I ordered and had delivered 2 leather Chesterfields. We visited the showroom, the sales lady we had was excellent, no pressure and knew the product well. We have had the sofas about 6 month now and we are extremely happy with them. All the materials its made from seem very high quality, along with the workmanship. I would definitely order from here again.

The sofas which we ordered arrived in the timelines agreed and are fantastic quality, we get lots of comments on them.

Iwhen the sofa arrived, the leather felt a little hard, but just took a mere 2 days to warm up and is now gorgeous, soft and very comfortable. exceptional value for money.

We ordered two sofas and I was really impressed both with the customer service and the sofas themselves. The sofas were ready earlier than expected and of a really high quality.All of our friends and family have commented on how great they look. They were also great value.

We've really enjoyed our 'new sofa experience' as it's been flawless from start to finish. After visiting the factory/warehouse we chose the sofa and was then told it would take between 9-12 weeks...it was bang on time and looked perfect when it arrived. After all the sofas we looked at in John Lewis, Next etc...this one just seemed more sophisticated. Would highly recommend and would buy again from here. If I could have one negative to say...it would be the name of the company. We found it online as 'The English Sofa Company' but struggled to find the warehouse as it's called 'Forest' and then I was asked to review 'The Chesterfield Company'! Confusing and not consistent from a brand awareness perspective.

Nothing short of a five 5 quality of product. The chesterfield arm-chair I got is extremely comfortable and well made. I would definitely buy another chair from them!!

Quality of products is very good. Sometimes customer service didn't answer to my emails and the delivery time to Finland was longer than anticipated. I am very pleased however.

Great customer service from the moment we entered the showroom all the way through to delivery and the sofa quality is exceptional! Staff couldn't be more helpful, especially as the options we wanted for our sofa were pretty bespoke (from a brand new type of leather in a colour that hadn't even hit the site yet to foam fillings and button options that weren't listed as being available for our sofa's range) - The Chesterfield Company were more than happy to oblige! One final great touch was their update service, letting us know where our sofa was in the production process - it was a nice surprise at the halfway point getting an update email counting down the days to delivery. Couldn't recommend enough!

We ordered two of the Arundel sofas and they are fantastic quality. We went for the antique style leather which looks really authentic. Delivery took slightly longer than expected and I was the one having to chase so my only disappointment as a customer was that they could improve on their communications to keep customers updated on delivery.

Never again! We are still awaiting delivery of our sofa from this company who, after many phone calls on our part, have now told us their courier has gone bust! Whenever company staff say they will telephone us, they don't, which has represented a loss of goodwill on our part. I have just cancelled my order both by email and telephone message but as the whole amount was taken from my Mastercard over six weeks ago I am now awaiting a return from The Chesterfield Company to see if I have been successful. As we haven't received the sofa will they have the courtesy to respect cancellation because of sheer frustration with their staff! If they refuse cancellation we await delivery with trepidation as so many reviews complain about poor quality and workmanship. Seems like this firm are getting away with so much.

We have purchased twice from this company, both times using their on line web site. Their product is of the highest quality, and their commitment to deliver on time has never failed. Unlike our friends experience who ordered leather furniture from a major furniture chain store, and their delivery kept being extended to 18 weeks!! The Chesterfield Company gave us an estimate of between 6 to 8 weeks and our order was ready to be delivered on the 7th week. The delivery guys were wonderful in navigating narrow hallway/doorframes and during frustrating efforts remained very cheerful and polite. We are extremely satisfied with the leather quality, the beautiful furniture design and expecially the honest and considerate way we have been treated by this company. Visited the Chesterfield company showroom in Manchester, wide range of quality products that are handmade. Picked out a high back wing chair and matching 3 seater settee. Quality leather, built and delivered within 8 weeks.

Travelled 250 miles to view the showroom and was most impressed. Ordered a sofa and footstool, which were delivered on schedule. The quality was brilliant but unfortunately the footstool has suffered slight damage. It was collected, repaired and returned promptly and with no fuss. A great company with a lovely product.

We bought a sofa from The Chesterfield Company a number of years ago (4 I think), and the sofa has lasted extremely well. If anything it is better now than it was when we first bought it, with the leather aging really well and suiting our blend of traditional and modern interior. We would recommend.

Showroom staff were courteous and professional, showing us different designs, build features and a vast choice of materials available to us for the Chesterfield suite we were considering purchasing. We chose a cream leather for the settee and two chairs. On placing the order we were given an estimated delivery date. We received a telephone call one week prior to the estimated delivery date to inform us the suite was ready for delivery. The delivery team were again courteous and helpful. We have light coloured carpets the two delivery men insisted on removing their shoes at the door and placing the suite in the sitting room also removing all the packaging and taking it away. A great quality product and professional staff. All in all a very happy experience.

Ordered a chair for my mum in northern Ireland. Chair was delivered within six weeks -delighted with quality of chair and very suitable for my 94 year old mother's needs.Would fully recommend this company.

I was worried about ordering online and unseen apart from a small sample of leather. I needn't have worried. The sofas are lovely, very comfortable and the sample was spot on colour wise. Everything was done within the time scale stated. My mistake was getting rid of my old sofas before being given a delivery date for the new. I was so pleased when they arrived as I am too old to get on and off a beanbag. I would recommend this company.

Great quality sofa and even better than expected. Looks fantastic and definitely worth the wait. Communication could of been slightly better.
