With lockdown it took a long time to get our sofas, howerver, now they're here we are very pleased with them. They are comfortable and look really good in our sitting room.

Everything worked out well from ordering through to delivery. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, both the company and the delivery co gave a very good service. The sofa is of a good quality and excellent workmanship.

I looked at the website, seen what I wanted, made a couple of phone calls to the salesman, who was extremely helpful, decided to buy without visiting the store. When delivered, they are extremely good quality leather. We now have a superb Chesterfield sofa, and a lovely leather wingback chair. Great experience from start to finish. Will definitely recommend and buy from here again.

Ordered 2 leather cushions early April (spoke to them several times a) because wanted to be clear exactly what I wanted and b) because when I tried to order their website said delivery charge would be over £80!) we managed to resolve that! and so placed the order –– Fully understand possibility of production delays due to covid-19 but these items were described on their website (and still are) as ‘stock clearance’ – now most people know stock clearance as … in stock, and for clearance! But no, that isn’t the case! Ordered early April and received mid-July (3.5 months), it’s true AFTER I placed the order the emailed confirmation said 8 – 9 weeks (strange for ‘stock clearance’ but I decided to go with it) rang 3 times subsequently to chase the order and was told on separate occasions that they were JUST coming off the production line at that very moment and would be despatched. A week went by, no cushions rang up again told same thing but on 3rd occasion they DID despatch. What I received left me speechless! I had been very clear prior to ordering that I wanted same/similar colours to the product images on their website (beiges, browns and creams) … if I had been made aware they were going to be like Joseph’s technicoloured dream coat! I would never have ordered in the first place! These items were NOT clearance and were clearly made to order – so you can’t turn around and say ‘pot luck’ it’s whatever is in stock! I said that I would be returning them as they did not reflect the product image/were not as described, after initially going to ground, they responded with: “Unfortunately we are unable to refund the return postage or accept your claim that these items are not as described. These are patchwork products made of a mix of leathers and as such a selection of various colours should be expected”. “various colours should be expected” …. If only they had stated this right from the outset, I NEVER would have ordered these products. I did get a refund minus return postage – so I was out of pocket. Be very careful ordering from this company. Damage to business reputation and customer satisfaction levels don’t seem to concern them – a poor long term strategic business decision. Every company has its day but the better ones stay around longer because they pay attention to reputation and customer satisfaction.

Fantastic service, despite recent times delivery was still prompt. Workmanship exceptional, we know our settees will last for a very long time. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this company to anyone and in fact we already have. Lovely to have British made furniture from an excellent company.

Excellent service from receipt of swatch through to receiving end product. Quality and craftsmanship was second to non. Love these tub chairs, they did not disappoint.

I had a great experience with this company. In the past I had high pressure sale personal from the big box stores that saw me as an inconvenience on several occasions. I was out of town and made arrangements to meet with a member of the sales team and indicated what type of product that would fit me needs. Salwa spent over 3 hours with me. She was very patient as I indicated to her this was a major purchase for me. I settled on a nice piece and chair and when we did the paper work i asked Salwa that I decided to change my mind and go with another piece. She was very understanding and assisted me with the other items. I was very pleased with corporate,sales and the delivery of my items. Once I pay of these items I would like to go back to get a nice recliner. i prefer not to go to the big box stores which I use to shop at all the time.Thanks CC

We visited their showroom /workshop and were impressed with the range and quality of their products, especially as we wanted a made in UK product. Our settee and chair were manufactured and delivered within the stated time. The delivery team contacted us with date and time and also took away all packaging. We are extremely happy with our purchases and would recommend, especially if you are looking for a more individual item

Excellent Chesterfield suite!!! Visited the showroom to see the Monks Suite in Antique red having seen the product on line. Staff were very helpful answering all queries, with no pressure selling!! Order placed and full explanation given re. payment and delivery. Items were delivered within the agreed timescale by a superb delivery company, the two operatives were a pleasure to have in my property, unpacked and positioned the suite to my complete satisfaction. A quality product that will give years of pleasure, and a company well worth dealing with. Thank you the Chesterfield Company!!!!

We are very pleased with our new sofa & footstool it looks fabulous! I’m especially happy with the price in comparison to other retailers, whom I suspect are placing orders with this supplier also. The Chesterfield company has a huge variety of leathers and some fabrics. They kept to the stated schedules and updated us with the progress of our order throughout. They are very professional and I would happily recommend their company.

We are very happy with our chair. We were wary of buying things off the internet without seeing them in the flesh but the chair was even better than we expected. We wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again. They were very accommodating about the current Covid19 situation and offered to keep the chair in storage if we couldn’t accept delivery but were prepared to deliver following the government guidelines on social distancing which we really appreciated.

Having shopped around online we plumped for the Chesterfield Company. We could not be happier with the service and quality of the company. The 2 seater, tub chair and wingback chair are absolutely gorgeous. We are glad we opted for the vintage analine as it is very sumptuous. Staff were amazing and well deserved of a 5 star rating. Great product delivered on time.

I'm always very nervous about making such a large purchase via the internet however my fears were unfounded, not only was the companies communication excellent but the settee was exactly as pictured on line. It is well made with a superb finish. It is very comfortable and just perfect for where we wanted to put it. We ar extremely happy with our purchase. The only thing we need now is some advice on how to keep a Bulldog and a Fox Terrier off it!

The couch is lovely, service to get it to me was great. But product broke after using the sofabed pull out for the 3rd time. Since couch was over 1 year there is no warranty and the parts alone from external supplier would cost almost £200 not including fitting. I don't know how they vet their external parts supplier or if they do QC on the parts, but this part was substandard and effectively ruins my experience with the Chesterfield Company The customer service was also shoddy, no apology, they didn't even seem shocked as I received what looks like a stock email response to this problem meaning this must happen often enough to have a standard reply ready. Do not buy a sofa bed from these folks - couches are probably still great. EDIT - so after I calmed down and accepted I can't afford £200 at this time, I had a closer look at solving the issue myself. All that needs fixing is one slat, you can unscrew the broken one and add a new one yet Chesterfield charge: Mechanism £95 Postage £20 Technican visit £45 VAT £32 Total: £192 No mention of an option for a new slat to fit yourself! Wanted to put this out there in case anyone else has a similar issue - will update if/ when I find an option for replacement slats. Edit 2: Chesterfield responded by admitting that a spare slat would indeed do the job. I was initially delighted as they were going to keep an eye out for one and let me know. However - they then continued to report this review to Trust pilot in a typical bulling and victim blaming manner - The burden of evidence now lies with me to 1. prove I had a couch from them. 2. prove there is a problem. This is after they had actually had multiple communications directly with me and I had sent actual pictures and all of the communications were logged under my purchase order. Basically trying to use Trustpilots system to silence me after they admitted to me they were wrong. Final edit. Company appologized, citing bad communication. By the end of it they recognise that there were issues and there responses added to the fire. I'm satisfied with the outcomes and I hope the next person with an issue will have better communication and better options.

Got two leather Hudson chairs. Great price, quality & comfort.

A fair price for exceptional quality. Great communications all the way along the process. The delivery men listened to instructions and carried out the load in professionally. As for the sofa bed, I've enjoyed sitting on it, loved sleeping on it - but most of all have just adored looking at it. The single most beautiful item of furniture I have ever brought into my home.
