About Ship Sticks

At Ship Sticks, our mission is to make golf travel simpler, easier, and more affordable. In 2019 alone, U.S. airlines collected $5.76 billion dollars in baggage fees, up 18% from 2018. As airlines find ways to gradually increase pricing for carry-on and checked bags, your once reasonably priced ticket is nearing double the value initially paid. Our goal is to provide golfers with a hassle-free alternative to lugging their clubs to and from the airport – so as to improve the golf travel experience, increase the number of rounds played annually, and grow the game.

We shipped luggage from the U.S. to Australia. From the time we initially contacted Ship Stick, they were amazing to work with. It was so easy, they handled everything including the custom forms and our luggage arrived way earlier than anticipated. I highly recommend them for all your shipping needs.

I was a bit nervous that the overseas shipment would be complicated, but this was so freaking easy it is scary. Highly recommend for anyone not wanting to haul their clubs around an airport.

Fed Ex got the clubs from northernMinnesota to Palm Desert CA in five days ground and four days back. The shipping labels were sent two sided and printed out wrong. The outbound label had the return label info on the back. Print it out two sided and look at it.

I sent my clubs from MN to HA on a Weds in January....big mistake...apparently Fed Ex does not deliver on weekends; thus my clubs did not arrive until the following Monday due to one day of bad weather despite a guarantee of 48 hour shipping. It thus took 6 days for my clubs to get to my hotel on Kauai. I wish you would inform everyone using your service that you should probably allow at least 3 to 4 shipping days to get to your destination, but I was told by the Shipsticks operator that sending them on Wednesday would allow "plenty of time to get there even with bad weather since you are sending them with a 2 day delivery window"...when I contacted Shipsticks customer service, the response was "we can't do anything about the weather" which I totally understand, but this is the 2nd time this has happened to me and I wish you would post on your website or when making a reservation that in the winter, with weather issues throughout the US, it would make sense to ship clubs earlier in the week and allow 3 to 4 days for clubs to arrive instead of a 6 day shipment time which occurred to me 2 out of the last 3 times that I utilized your service resulting in me having to rent clubs 3 days in a row until my clubs arrived.... Received a reply from Shipsticks and they totally missed what I was trying to relate which is very simple! THEY SHOULD INFORM EVERYONE SHIPPING CLUBS, ESPECIALLY IN THE WINTER THAT THEY SHOULD ALLOW AN EXTRA DAY OR TWO FOR WEATHER DISRUPTIONS AND NOT SHIP ON A WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY SINCE IF THERE IS A WEATHER ISSUE, YOU MAY NOT RECEIVE YOUR CLUBS FOR AT LEAST AN EXTRA DAY PLUS DOES EVERYONE KNOW THAT FED EX DOES NOT DELIVER ON THE WEEKENDS? THAT'S WHAT THE HOTEL TOLD ME IN HAWAII...IF I WOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT I WOULD HAVE SHIPPED MY CLUBS OUT ON MONDAY OR AT THE LATEST ON TUESDAY SO I WOULD HAVE THEM BY THE WEEKEND! GOOD GRIEF, HOW HARD CAN IT BE; TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS TO SHIP EARLY SO THEY DON'T HAVE COMPLICATIONS LIKE I HAVE HAD 2 TIMES IN A ROW!!!
