I took my belongings home and found dead mouse in one of my boxes, where I was saving luxury baby clothing. Baby outfits are damaged by mouse teeth, urine and feces… the dead mouse itself in a box .. Paddington SafeStore workers refuse to give me any support saying - I found the mouse being outside SafeStore, how could I know I am bringing home my boxes with dead mouse … disgusting
We had the best service from the staff at Safestore Bath. Helpful, courteous and always going above and beyond. Would thoroughly recommend the team.
UPDATE: It is now 19 March, nearly SEVEN WEEKS later and I am still waiting to be contacted by "Customer Services". The manager at St Johns Wood branch says there is nothing he can do. To make matters worse, I have been told that as a new customer I would be paying £68.24 ex VAT per week for the first year which includes a 10% discount. That's £3,549 for the year. Safestore is currently charging me an eye-watering £6,482 plus VAT That's NEARLY DOUBLE their LIST PRICE. Go online and see the cost for 75 sqft in St John's Wood for a year. I can send a screen shot. I'm sure there must be a mistake somewhere and that I have been inadvertently overcharged for some time. Trustingly I have not questioned the charge which has only come to light because we need to cut costs. Will Safestore please contact me directly to get this sorted out and the overcharged amounts refunded. ==================== I have been a very profitable (and satisfied) Safestore customer for many years. Recently I told the store manager that I needed a rate reduction in order to continue using Safestore. He never got back to me. Out of the blue I have received a letter informing me that my storage rate will increase by just over 12%. I spoke with the store manager who now says that he has no ability to negotiate rates with customers and that he has received calls from "70 or 80 other customers just like you who are also very unhappy with the increase". I hope that Safestore will reverse this decision without delay. I look forward to hearing from them. I imagine that the price hike is across all locations but I have not named my store to avoid company retribution against the manager for speaking out honestly.

I have used Safestore at Sighthill, Edinburgh since moving house 4 months ago. The unit is simple to use with ample parking and loading bays, numerous trolleys and large lifts to the different levels. The staff at the store were very helpful from start to finish and made the whole experience very smooth, even arranging a refund I wasn’t expecting upon exiting the unit. This facility was very competitive and easy to use and I won’t hesitate in using Safestore again.

Been using Safestore Southampton for years now and always happy with the storage unit and ease of accessibility. Always well lit, clean and cool with plenty of carry carts. The staff always happy to help. Ample parking as well. I always look forward to visiting my unit as it feels like an adventure with the sliding doors and quiet corridors.
