The entire day was wonderful, from pick up to drop off. Everything was planned well and organized. The lunch was very tasty and paired well with the before and after tastings. Army was the best guide, driver, and photographer for our entire day. You will not be disappointed in this tour company.

We had the best time with, Gary! His hilarious dad jokes paired perfectly with his knowledge of wine. The wineries we went to were smaller and more intimate which I loved! Would definitely recommend!

Army was our guide & he was amazing. We had the best time. Our favorite stop was Auburn & James Winery. The best wine & Eric is wonderful. Taught us alot.

Our tour guide was delightful and very informative! I feel though, all things considered, the company charges too much. We paid $150 per person- should have been $95 or so.

Our tour guide Gary was so friendly and accommodating! Platypus is always so reliable, punctual, and friendly on their tours. He helped create a fun atmosphere within our group and was knowledgeable, also very helpful with gathering our wine purchases and packing them up for us. Love getting to see some of the more intimate vineyards that aren’t crowded with tourists, Platypus will always be a must for us!

Chris was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. When the tour first started, he helped the group become acquainted and create an atmosphere for interacting. After the first stop, everyone was vibing. The places we visited were unique and interesting with great owners and managers. It was beyond my expectations and would definitely do again and recommend to others. I learned so much on this tour and love wine so much more after touring with Platypus.

The tour guide was excellent. The choice of wineries was good and we really enjoyed the wine and interactions with the employees.

We loved our trip with Gary in Napa Valley so much that we booked another tour with Tessa for Sonoma Valley the next day! For the tour, communication, cleanliness, and the personalized winery experience was exceptional! We met and enjoyed the experience with three other couples on each of our tours. Getting to meet some of the owners and wine makers was a treat along with amazing wine and views. Highly recommend!!!

We had such an amazing tour with Steve Hunter! From the second he picked us up from our hotel, he was informative, welcoming, funny and just an all round gentleman. He picked 3 fantastic wineries to visit which suited the needs of the whole group on board. On route to these wineries Steve would keep us informed of where we were, while also telling us past history about Napa and the surrounding areas. We had one of our favourite days on our road trip thanks to Steve :)

We took both the Platypus Napa and Sonoma Tours while visiting Napa. We really enjoyed both. Our tour guides were really knowledgeable about the history of the region and the wine industry. We visited three vineyards in both Sonoma and Napa and had great tasting experiences. I would definitely recommend Platypus Tours to get a close up experience of the region.

The bus was clean and well maintained. Steve our guide gave a lot of local history and knows the area well. He picked some great locations and was paying attention to make sure that we were having a good time on the trip. well worth the money.

Great trip. We visited some beautiful small family wineries. Our driver/guide was very friendly and knowledgable. He made our wine tastings approachable and fun. Will definitely be using Platypus again.

Our driver, Linda was so fun and nice. She was well loved by the wineries and their hosts, which says a lot for her and the company!

Fab day with Linda our guide, who was very knowledgeable. We tasted some great wine and learnt a lot about the work that goes into the wine in your glass, all the vineyards were welcoming, we even bought a few bottles to enjoy as we travel through California.
