We enjoyed the Platypus Wine Tour! We visited three very different wineries and were able to taste a lot of wine. The lunch provided was awesome and we appreciated that they were able to provide a gluten free option for my daughter who has celiac.

Great bus, great guide, great people! Highly recommend if you want an easy way to get around a few wineries with no stress.

This was our first tour in Napa Valley and it was perfect for us. Our guide and driver, Dave, was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and winemaking. We visited three small wineries and tasted some delicious wines. Lunch was simple, but very tasty and healthy. Platypus makes sure that the tasting prices are reasonable ($25 was the maximum). I would go again next time we are back in Napa and highly recommend.

Wonderful tour! We ate recurring visitors of the Napa area and we were still very impressed by the wineries we visited. Courtney went above and beyond to keep us informed, organize all the wine we bought and even kept us cool with some cold washcloths when it was very warm at one of the wineries. Communication was great. We would return and tour with her again!

Highly recommend Platypus. We went on their Sonoma join-in tour and it did not disappoint. We got a call that morning about our pick up, which was at our VRBO. Courtney, our tour guide, was pleasant and informative. All of the wineries she took us to had excellent wines. I am not a red wine drinker, but I liked all of the red wines I tasted. The tasting fees were not too extravagant and much less compared to Napa Valley. Lunch wasn't fancy (sandwich, quinoa salad, fruit), but it tasted good and I appreciated having more than an appetizer or charcuterie. Bottled water was available. It was nice to actually get to know the other people we toured with and that it was a small group of 10 of us. The following day, we went on the Napa Valley Wine Trolley and our experience didn't even come close to what we got from Platypus. Wish we would have chosen them for our Napa tour as well.

Gary was an absolute Gem! We had the most amazing day, we went to 3 vineyards and overall was pretty good. The only downside is that I would have preferred a warm lunch...

We had a blast on the tour. Our guide, Army, was personable and knowledgeable. Plus, we stopped at wonderful wineries, and were provided a celiac-safe lunch. Highly recommend Platypus tours.

Jared our tour guide was great. He was very knowledgable about the different climites and land make up within Napa Valley and how it effects the wine made here along with great suggestions about restaurants and other things to do.

We loved the family owned wineries that we visited and the wine knowledge that we received. I wish I could give this experience more stars because it was absolutely the highlight of our week! 🍷🍷🍷

I've done Platypus several times in the past and have always enjoyed their tours. When I was planning this tour, I requested to see if Army would be available to drive us on the tour. The guy is absolutely awesome and makes the experience before and even after top notch. He's the perfect blend of honorary, story teller and comedian. After the tour, he dropped my wife and I off downtown and then took the wine we bought back to the hotel for us to pick up later. He even answered questions about Napa in general the next day. We became fast (one-day) friends with the people we toured with, I guess wine does that to you. It's a great tour and would highly recommend.

Army was the best chauffeur! His conversations, he know so much about Napa Valley, his photography skills for each couple or group onboard was such an extra treat!! The vineyards were amazing in their own way. Our favorite was Ghost Block! And then stopping by the Olive Oil company! Fabulous! The service was divine!!

They took.us to great wineries that were hidden away but the wines were outstanding! I would highly recommend Platypus tours. P.S. they did all the driving!

Great day in Sonoma! Our driver/tour guide was so informative and took us to 3 great and very different spots! We will definitely do it again next time we’re out there!
