About Parklet

ParkLet was launched in 2004 to offer an alternative to traditional parking. Parking had, and continues to, become ever more expensive and more difficult to find. Congestion and traffic is on the increase, whilst the government actively discourages the provision of parking spaces to try and encourage people out of their cars and onto crumbling public transport. The founder members had noticed unused private parking spaces in areas where parking was in high demand. ParkLet was created to offer an effective marketplace and management service for the letting of these parking spaces and garages. Over the years the team has grown, and our systems evolved to enable us to become the UK’s leading agent for parking spaces and garages. We currently have in excess of 20,000 spaces advertised to let, across the whole of the UK. Our Landlords include residential clients with a single space, as well as most of the national car park companies and councils, and most things in between. Our aim moving forwards is to remain completely focused on contract parking and garages, and continue to invest in our systems and staff so that we can offer our customers an ever improving experience.

Worst even though I received bookings each day around 8£ I never received the amount credited to my account Not sure when they will credit back that amount towards the booking I received?

Parklet pretends to be a trustworthy service mediator by holding a deposit. However they reject covering any losses due to equipment being destroyed by tenants. Parklet leaves landlords completely unprotected, never use it again.

Terrible service. The company takes a large portion of the rental income and provides poor service in return. Additionally, when a tenant broke the garage fob, Parklet asked the landlord to cover the costs. They also cancel bookings casually and reactivate them without warning. I will not use this service again and do not recommend it to anyone.

Searching the internet to let my parking space I came across Parklet and contacted them by email. I found them to be efficient and friendly. The first interested party did not rent the space but another party was soon found and took the space. Rent collection has been smooth so far with a detailed statement each month.

Totally unprofessional operation. I put a reservation on a garage was told that they were waiting for the landlord to come back to them spent a lot time on the project only to get an email not a call stating it was not availble . Unbelievable

ParkLet team were responsive and efficient and helped me through the booking process. I had some teething issues with the parking place owner, and they helped as best they could and deferred the start date of the contract to reflect when I got access.

Worst experience of 2023, Customer Service never even showed that they wanted to help, held onto my deposit for months after I gave the key back to the landlord, use another app save yourself the stress.

Terrible. Increased rent by 20% after just 2 months. I have sent back the key for storage container and said I'm happy for them to keep payment as per Ts & Cs until end of agreement. They received key back on 26/01/24, tenancy ends on 22/02/24. So I have to wait almost a month until being able to REQUEST they refund me, doesn't sound like they do it automatically. Don't even care if they rent it to someone else before tenancy is up - I have told them I do not need it and will not request to use it again. Sure it's probably all in their T's & Cs', but doesn't sit right with me at all! Good luck!
