ParkLet was launched in 2004 to offer an alternative to traditional parking. Parking had, and continues to, become ever more expensive and more difficult to find. Congestion and traffic is on the increase, whilst the government actively discourages the provision of parking spaces to try and encourage people out of their cars and onto crumbling public transport. The founder members had noticed unused private parking spaces in areas where parking was in high demand. ParkLet was created to offer an effective marketplace and management service for the letting of these parking spaces and garages. Over the years the team has grown, and our systems evolved to enable us to become the UK’s leading agent for parking spaces and garages. We currently have in excess of 20,000 spaces advertised to let, across the whole of the UK. Our Landlords include residential clients with a single space, as well as most of the national car park companies and councils, and most things in between. Our aim moving forwards is to remain completely focused on contract parking and garages, and continue to invest in our systems and staff so that we can offer our customers an ever improving experience.
This all went very smoothly: first time I used the site. The space was easy to park in, and at a very reasonable price.
For £30 booking I recieved £18 (40% charge, please stay away from these extortionists). That is nothing less than preposterous not to mention, it was the only booking I received from Parklet since my signup (3 months ago). When compared to your competitors, they only take a reasonable commision for the use of their platform and you get regular bookings so all in all it makes sense. I also use other platforms and receieve 8x more bookings compared to the single 1 booking I got from Parklet and they take significantly less of a commision. I invite you to ground yourselves onto Planet Earth by not overvalueing your poorly offered services. Additionally, your U.I is unnecessarily complex and offers no withdraw links or information regarding the navigation around your platform. For this you want to take 40% of my earnings ?! Take into account your low to none booking rate before poncing onto the earnings of the people renting their spaces out on your platform.
Very easy operator to work with
Easy parking location, great communication with provider.
Parklet is always efficient, organised, and responsive. I've been a happy customer for years!
Vry good way of using your drive through
Rental of garage has been professionally handled with no issues
Very good company
Fantastic company , I have been with them for many years . Five Stars to Naomi, Kiara & Tom.
don't use parklet. scammers.
So far, the experience is one of disappointment. I expected to receive relevant information, along with the notice of my space being rented. Type of car / number plate? Dates to be rented? Amount to be paid? Poor organisation.
This company is a complete scammer. I bought a parking lot in London and the address was 150-160. When I went to the location, there was no parking space shown in the picture in the ad. I parked elsewhere because I was in a hurry. I reported this to the company and their response was "We sent you the full address by email and they said we can't refund your money". I'm buying a product and I can't keep track of my email address for this. Later, they also corrected the address in the ad. In short, they do not admit their mistake and are scamming by selling a parking lot that you do not know. If you don't want to be scammed, don't work here.
My first experience with Parklet was that they were very informative and kept me updated with the need to know basis.
Easy to find. Near tubes and trains.
Great working experience. Easily every one in cantact.
Great experience, all ran smoothly
Good communication and information. Very safe large garage, easy to manoeuvre, plenty of room to park. Would use again.
Ver reliable, always connects to good tenants in a secure way
I rented a "secure allocated parking space in gated location" for 2 1/2 weeks as I flew overseas from a different city where I live in. All looked good as I parked my car there but about one week later I was told to move my car and not park there any longer. And I was on the other side of the planet. Fortunately for me my son happen to live nearby and managed to find time in short notice, move the car and find alternative parking. My son also found a bunch of parking tickets on my car when he went there.. While this problem may have been caused by a dishonest and/or incompetent landlord the Parklet's help was minimal. No assistance was offered to me, I had to sort everything by myself. As for compensation they refunded only the days that the car was not at the parking place I paid for. Positive is that they do communicate, reply to phone calls and emails. It's just that the help they offer is minimal or not there at all. I do not recommend them.
Very reliable but commission and admin cost expensive
