ParkLet was launched in 2004 to offer an alternative to traditional parking. Parking had, and continues to, become ever more expensive and more difficult to find. Congestion and traffic is on the increase, whilst the government actively discourages the provision of parking spaces to try and encourage people out of their cars and onto crumbling public transport. The founder members had noticed unused private parking spaces in areas where parking was in high demand. ParkLet was created to offer an effective marketplace and management service for the letting of these parking spaces and garages. Over the years the team has grown, and our systems evolved to enable us to become the UK’s leading agent for parking spaces and garages. We currently have in excess of 20,000 spaces advertised to let, across the whole of the UK. Our Landlords include residential clients with a single space, as well as most of the national car park companies and councils, and most things in between. Our aim moving forwards is to remain completely focused on contract parking and garages, and continue to invest in our systems and staff so that we can offer our customers an ever improving experience.

Easily booked. My first choice was unavailable but I was offered alternatives in the same area and in the same price bracket - all rather painless. And my car is safely parked.

Everything generally fine, fairly smooth transaction. Two minor issues: 1) had to collect parking permit from private address close to location, which entailed a trip solely for that purpose (permits ought to be mailed or be downloadable|); and 2) Parklet does not provide an invoice/receipt except upon request. One such should be provided by default.

Overall the service is good and reliable and everything is managed very smoothly but this site charges the highest commission of any other similar services so it does takes a big chunk out of your potential earning.
grate experience and helpful staff. I only had 1 issue that was I didn't have the funds to pay there and then so they said I can still pay for the space when im able too but the space will be put back up for others to rent.
I wish more data is collected about the reason of renting the parking slot before listing the options, like the destination. I am traveling with family, staying outside London but needed to visit the city and found out that the location of the parking was not the best. Way too far and might have been more cost effective to just take a taxi to London!

Relatively easy to use. Much cheaper than Car parking rates. My first booking went without a hitch. I'm not sure what would happen about insurance in case of damage/break in though.
I have found this service simple and easy. I have seen a few private adverts that would give a little more on the property than i get - but really for me the ease of this service totally out weighs the possible few £ that may possibly may be available renting privately. I have had few weeks without a renter, a few confusing emails between me and parklet, but on the whole it has been extremely stress free. I genuinely believe that despite the commission paid I am, over time, totally in pocket with Parklet and it has been easy.
Commission is too high
It was easy to search for parking space I needed closest to the area I had to stay and the price was very competitive & rather much cheaper than on other similar parking sites.
Easy booking system, helpful agent on the end of a phone. Prompt release of contract and communication with the landlord.
