The staff at No Tom Guitars really know their stuff. They advised me incredibly well and were happy to spend time with me throughout my decision making. They've got an incredibly diverse array of products in at all times, and are constantly updating their website so you know what's hot. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.
Warm welcome, no pressure. Great stock.
I had been on the hunt for a Gibson G3 for roughly 13 years and the search ended at NoTomGuitars. I saw one in the corner behind some lovely 60s-70s p bass'. I explained to the staff about looking for one for so long and despite this there was no pressure at all to buy the bass. They were happy for me to play on it and check it over for as long as I wanted. I came away with a 79 G3 with original hard case for a decent price. Will definitely go there again even if it is about a 2 hour trip! Thanks!
Intimate, classy room full of classic, desirable guitars with helpful, knowledgeable staff.
Guys at notom guitars were great-helpful and informative. Offering 3 month service demonstrates confidence in their service and I'd happily buy again from their shop.
no tom is the a great little shop down on Denmark street selling vintage guitars. I tried allot of guitars around the street and found the customer service and quality of knoll age and attention the staff give to you in the shop. after buying a guitar i have received great advice and help with my instrument and learning to play guitar. Thank you
Ron's advice and recommendations are always spot on and he directed me straight to what turned out even better than I had hoped... Friendly, well informed little shop full of wonders and always worth checking in when you're cruising Denmark Street (for musical instruments and kit!) Their workshop are also excellent and did a great job for me. All told, big thanks to Ron and his team :)
Bought two Strymon effects units these were price matched by these guys ! Was so glad this amazing small shop run by great people took my money and not the big boys. Great stuff lads.....Thanks
In No.Tom Guitars I purchased a wonderful Kala Concert Ukulele. I went in and asked to try it out and ended up buying it. It's a wonderful shop featuring guitars on sale displayed on the walls. I also got the impression that the staff had time for anyone who walked into their shop.
Great selection of unusual but quality instruments. Good advice and a sensible prices. The people who looked after me took account of my Musical tastes and I ended-up with a wonderful Larrivee OM-05 series acoustic guitar. Thanks again folks!
After four or five visits, I've bought 2 beautiful 12 strings. Everyone in the shop is professional and friendly and Ron has given me 2 really good deals and even contributed towards a new case when I found the original one to be damaged. I've been coming to Denmark St for 11 years and Notoms is easily my favourite shop to visit. They have a fantastic range of quality guitars
I have been looking for a guitar to treasure and that will also appreciate in value. I found that guitar at No.Tom Guitars. I was given the full run down on the history of the guitar as well as a good amount of time to play the instrument. Upon deciding to purchase the guitar, Ron, the ownner, could not have been more helpful. The guitar was thouroghly prepared with detailed photographs of the internal parts of the guitar with relevant date stamps and part numbers confirming the provenance of the guitar. It was also set up to my specifications and even sent to me by cab! This came with full paperwork and guarantee of authenticity. On top of that they will provide unlimited set ups for the next three years free of charge. Now that is what I call service! I will be back.
Bought a 1958 Echolette KLEMT from these guys, sounds great, real old fashion sound. Not many places you would find one of these?
When I was In London last month, I bought a 1952 LG-1 Gibson and after a few days the guitar was delivered to my home. I decided to change the tuning machines and No.Tom shipped what I needed very fast and without any problem. As a satisfied customer, I do recommend these guys.
No Tom Guitars 6 Denmark Street LONDON WC2H 8LX England Tuesday, 13 August 2013 Dear Ron, In this day and age I seem to write more letters of complaint than any of thanks. Today I have the great pleasure of writing a rare letter of thanks. I can say that the Gibson Les Paul 2006 Black Beauty that I recently purchased from you is a great guitar. To find such a perfect example is difficult and I found it at your shop. At a price that is very reasonable for the condition and pedigree of the instrument. Not only did I find a great guitar but I found a person who not only sells guitars but someone who is easy to deal with and makes the whole process of finding a professional instrument a pleasure. I have to admit that I am a fastidious person who is aware of the need that a great guitar is required to allow your years of professional work to shine through. My need was to find a professional instrument for the studio and live, a serious workhorse that my career depends on. At no stage did I ever feel pressured into buying a guitar or to be sold just any old guitar, but my time sitting trying out the same guitar on multiple visits proved to be process that was encouraged by Ron. There is a sense of professional understanding from Ron who seems to know that to make a serious purchase of a professional instrument is a subjective process and takes time and consideration. This process was not lost on Ron. I am comfortable knowing that if I need another instrument that Ron will be the first person I will turn to. \ I would recommend to anyone to take time to seek out a guitar from Ron as I am sure it won’t be time wasted. His range is worth your time to study. All my very best to you Ron and the guys at your shop. Thank you. Cheers, Geoff Ps I have since purchased two more guitars from Ron
Who could ask for anything more? The selection of vintage guitars is excellent and I felt free to try any of them for as long as I wanted. The only problem is buying just one. Doug Holland
I have not had the best experiences shopping on Denmark St in the past but these guys were fantastic. I spent over an hour with one guitar and was able to really get to know it before committing to buy. Their 3 year free servicing policy gave me complete peace of mind and they were willing to tweak and tweak again until my new instrument was playing and sounding exactly like the guitar of my dreams. Nobody here is going to bounce you into a purchase and they are going to take really good care of you after you buy. This is how it's done, folks.
