The 1980 D-28 I bought last week at No.Tom Guitars is everything I had hoped it would be. I have been looking for that special feeling with an acoustic for some time and I have found it with this guitar. Thank you Chris at No.Tom for taking the time to go through all of the comparisons with the other D-28s (1978 and 1979) and with the D-41 and the Gibson J50. I learned something and it made me even more convinced that the 1980 D-28 was the right one. The knowledge and honest discussions with Chris and Ron about each guitar's qualities is invaluable.

Was working in London on a week's course....hotel round the corner from Denmark Street. Not looking for a new guitar at all, but dropped into the store just for a mooch....anyway, you know how this story goes, suffice to say I am now the very proud owner of a beautiful Taylor 812CE. The guys at No.Tom are professional, knowledgeable and patient - they allowed me to A-B test several guitars at various price points to ensure the Taylor was right for me. They also shipped very quickly and securely, and even threw in a very nice T-shirt! Thanks Chris and Doug - it was a pleasure doing business with you. A bit higher priced, but it's special edition and worth every penny. And they sent extremly fast to Germany. Very friendly andby the way great guitars - I wish I could afford ... ;-))

These guys are absolute pioneers in their trade. Customer service is AAA 10/10 And the quality of their instruments is out of this world. Chris and Ron really make you feel at home and try their best to help you with all of your needs. Other guitar stores need to take note from these guys, it isn't always about making the sale. It's about finding whats right for the customer and I really like that about No Tom. I recently purchased a 1996 Fender American vintage '62 reissue after hours of trying out different guitars in their store. Even with a bad back Ron kept a smile and Chris helped me to find the one. This is easilly the best strat I have ever played/owned. I can't finish this review without mentioning Gerald who has the magic touch. I've been bringing guitars to him for a few years and whatever he touches is pure gold. Easilly my favorite Luthier in London. Remi

I love this shop - not only is it like a crock of gold at the end of the rainbow for guitarists looking for rare and vintage specimens but they are so approachable. To be honest Denmark Street is so iconic but it is easy to be intimidated, bewildered and occasionally ripped off. Not at No Tom where they cut through the BS, give honest opinions and prices and properly look after you - I have spent thousands there over the last few years and will continue to for the next few I would imagine!!...
