NexGenT (DBA NGT Academy) was founded by two Air Force veterans who have trained thousands of engineers for the military. They have combined the military-style training philosophy of job readiness with decades of network engineering and cyber security experience working at Cisco Systems, Arista Networks, and Dimension Data into an immersive program to get people into cyber security or networking careers faster and more effectively than ever! I thought the information was good for a person that need a different of training than traditional. Some of the videos had a lot of information that required you to take very detailed notes because the questions were on the homework but the first module said don't take so many notes. In the end I took detailed notes on a word document and was glad I did. I haven't got use to the site they provided for notes yet. In the end I do think I am ready for the next level
This is a ton of info to learn but it is presented in a straight forward way.
I needed a lot-of-help with my Linked-in account and my resume. Demmie Form NGT Academy scheduled a zoom meeting with me and walked me thru a step by step until everything was completed. She did that with patience and proficiency. Looking at the final results, I could not have done it without her help.

The material is well broken down and explained with little to no confusion, Weekly study groups to review material is also very convenient, it also allows for peer-to-peer help as well and the game to review is a great way for material to stick. The Cisco packet tracer labs are great for hands-on learning whether you have Cisco experience or not, you'll learn it quickly.
I loved that I could work at my own pace. Whenever I had a question, I received an answer within seconds. Even though I haven't obtained any certifications in the IT field being self-motivated and enthusiastic about the challenge at hand has made the difference and if you are motivated you can too.
This course has changed how I view the area of IT. I was very nervous when I started because I come from a completely different work background and didn't even know the basics of IT. But once I got started on the first few lessons I started to pick up a lot of the information and vocab. I think the instructors do a great job explaining the information in a simple but effective way. The only recommendation I have is if possible go back and record older lessons that may have new concepts or information so that it is the most recent. I can't be more grateful for the opportunity to learn about such an interesting field and soon be a part of the community!

I appreciate how my training focused primarily on practical skills that are essential to work in the field. Plus, the mentorship was excellent!
The Labs were clear and easy to understand
The course is very well divided, modules and lessons fall into place as you move through different subjects. The projects actually gives you all the tools you need to fall right into the real world. The military mindset of mission above all and the practicality helps the classes and lessons to be spot on allowing students to learn what they need in a practical manner speeding up the process.
Learned So Much So FAST
I already work as a Senior Engineer in Telecom. I have decided to learn more about technologies. The way NGT Academy deliver the program and the teaching are very superb! The Community are also helpful and the mentors! I never ever regret enrolling to NGT Academy! Its time to level up !
I've been a student of NexGenT, NGT Academy, since 2019. I completed the "CompTIA Network +" and "Zero to Engineer" courses. Then, In 2021 I had the opportunity to study "CompTIA Network +" with a local university. I thought I would finish the university course to be better prepared and because the current CompTIA exam was being retired soon. After finishing the course with the university, I realized what NGT has to offer. The "CompTIA Network +" and "FSNA" courses from NGT Academy are far more capable of preparing me for the exams. The support you receive from the NGT Community and the instructors will help you become successful. NGT gives us various study tools and study groups to follow a successful path. I'm thankful to have found NGT Academy and I know they are committed to my success. Now I am "Network +" and "Security +" certified. Today I started my journey to become a "FSNE" because I had previous success with the NGT curriculum . I know I will be successful. #LEVELUP
This course works especially well for scenarios where you have to fit the work into an already busy schedule! Just make sure to be honest, open, and communicative!
I feel that I can learn better with hybrid learning. I feel like don't have enough time to keep up with my study. My skill is just not there yet in my reading and comprehension. This information is very good and knowledgeable. It is good to Level up.
Labs were great, only thing that caught me off guard was reviewing things that were on the written
Very thorough program with helpful instructors and an ample amount of resources. The community of students and instructors provides supportive study groups. The online community also encourages questions from students and everyone is dedicated to helping one another.
Demmie has been extremely helpful with helping me set up and polish my resume and cover letter. She has been patient and provided great suggestions for things I should do or update in my resume and cover letter and has provided great answers to any and all of my questions.
Building upon the most basic terminology up to complex concepts was great. Anytime I needed to speak to someone, there was always someone available. There was a lot of material to learn, which requires you to be dedicated day after day to complete so having the peer-to-peer, and live instructor meet-ups was also helpful for discussing anything you needed. I was also surprised to see study games during the study session, which was a nice change of pace from note-taking and memorization.
