MODA doors were unable to adhere to their stated delivery time of 3~5 days. I waited 9 days for my door and hardware packs. The initial product delivery was incomplete, despite me purchasing all of my products from the same manufacturer on 21st January 2025, necessitating further contact with MODA doors. By 11th February 2025 MODA doors had the issue before them since I had placed my original order. The delayed goods arrived the next day, 31st January 2025 but were faulty in that two handles were jammed tight into the rose covers and could not be separated for marking and drilling of attachment screws and through door handle braces. In one set of hardware, one set screw for attaching the handle to the square drive was also missing. I was asked by the customer services department to submit a photograph of the faulty handles and no replacement handles were despatched despite me being told they were on their way. Several calls later, I still had no replacement parts and was just being fobbed off with any handly explanations. Until I dealt directly with the manufacturer, I could not make any progress. The replacement parts were finally delivered one whole month after my first order. I could not recommend any other person to use MODA doors. Their appreciation of the customer service interface lacks credibility.

I am extremely pleased with the quality of doors provided by Moda and also the service provided by them. Based on my own experience I am more than happy to recommend them. I shall be ordering more doors in the springtime from them.

Do not order from here, the same issue as many other reviews. Cancelled order due to being asked for an additional £52 on top of the £48 I had already paid for delivery. Refund never received no answer on number or response to any emails now having to go through bank for a refund.

This is an utterly duplicitous organisation to deal with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! They accepted an online order from me which included a £48 delivery charge. They confirmed acceptance in a confirmatory email. Several days later they wrote to me saying that, after an issue with their carrier came to light, they required an additional £53.00 for delivery. They demanded that extra payment (I.e., £101.00 delivery charge) or they would cancel the order. I write back to them asking to be put in touch with senior management. They refused to give me a contact. Be very of dealing with this outfit. They lack any measure if integrity.

Really disappointed by the quality of the XL Joinery doors and the subsequent response from Moda. . Less than 3 weeks after fitting, the majority of our 15 doors started to peel at the top and bottom corners. At £155 per door I expected better! Initially I was offered less than half the total value back (I declined). I was the offered a replacement or refund but when I asked for compensation for the associated costs I.e a joiner to refit replacement doors (at a cost of just under £1000), it got frustrating. They’d only pay this if I selected XL Joinery doors but when there were none that I liked I had to resort to my credit card company for support. So as it stands I’m out of pocket for doors that are less than a month old but are faulty…..not the outcome I was looking for! Save yourself a headache and avoid Moda and XL Joinery.

Ordered 3 doors, but one was the wrong size (their fault, not ours). Doors not the best, but you get what you pay for and adequate for our purpose. Customer Service was really good and nice to speak to a real person, not via e-mail. No quibbles, sent us a replacement door and kept us informed of delivery dates on both first and second delivery.

Very disappointg customer service. I would never buy anything from here again. Due to covid i couldnt return or exchange the handle on time. There was no understanding from customer service ' We have policies in place for a reason and they need to be adhered to unfortunately. As such, we are unable to return or exchange this item.' The customer advisor said that 'by all means'we can write complaint ..its shocking. They should train their customer service advisors not to communicate so unprofessionally

No refund after 1 month. Contact your bank to request charge back. Mine was granted and refund received If PayPal open a case.

Shocking company. Ordered a door for £120 in December 2021. Was told the door wasn't available until Feb/March so I cancelled the order on 10th Jan 2022 and requested a refund. Guy on the phone said refund 'would be issued within the week'. Over 2 weeks later still no sign of a refund, and after several phone calls they just started making stuff up like 'the refund was issued on last Friday'. These clowns are like the taxi driver saying they're 'just round the corner' when they haven't even left the depot, and have no intention of leaving the depot. Stay well clear.

This is one of those “if I could score them 0, I would’ reviews. The website is probably the best thing about this company - as it looks the part…when in fact, I think it’s just a young lad answering the phone who’s been told to just fob people off. We ordered a door on next day delivery on 20th December. It didn’t come. When it still hadn’t arrived and calls hadn’t been dealt with, we phoned early Jan to be told it has been sent out and would be with us the day after. It didn’t arrive and when we phoned back, we were told on 10th that we would be refunded as it was out of stock!!! We were told the refund would be issued within 5 days….it wasn’t! Called today (25th Jan) to be told the refund was sent on Friday 21st and would take up to 14 days to receive. The police will be involved, they’re stealing from people!

Will not exchange one door I was told I have passed the 14 day return policy even when it was Christmas and new year holidays and it took nearly two weeks for the doors to arrive. Paid nearly £1000 for 6 doors.

Do not use unless you want to lose money! Not worth the cheap prices. Had a terrible experience with this company - they take your money, the product will turn up damaged and they will try to get out of exchanging for you.

After read all the bad reviews I was worried about Receiving my doors, but I’m really happy with my doors and delivery 👍

Internal Oak door arrived smashed. I reported it within 24 hours but was initially told I hadn’t reported it soon enough as they thought delivery date was when order handed over to courier! I have not heard from company in over a week despite numerous emails and phone calls to them. I am left with an unusable smashed door and £230 out of pocket. Terrible communication from the company who I suspect are trying to avoid taking responsibility for the smashed door. I will speak to my credit card company now.

They could not fulfill my order. I requested a refund and weeks later they still haven't given me back my money. I will get it through the credit card via a claim but be warned they are not an honest bunch.

Shame I didn’t read the reviews before purchasing from this company. Bought £900 worth of door handles, some of the handles were faulty, despite repeated promises and guarantees that the replacement items have been dispatched, I still haven’t received them. I will now take this up with my credit card company.

I purchased 7 doors still waiting for a delivery 10 days on I also called to confirm if they were in stock which they said yes 3days u will have them, now each time I call they are coming out with various excuses no good not a good company to deal with!

Well I thought I had made a mistake as I ordered and then checked the reviews. I ordered 12 doors , ordered confirmed next day, text to choose delivery date and then confirmation of delivery. On date of delivery I rang and received two hour delivery slot. Then doors received all perfect as ordered. So no complaints from me. They were also willing to price match too.

We had our doors sometime ago now but with the work we were having done have only just got round to fitting them and they are perfect, everybody that visits say how nice they look, really pleased with them. Also the delivery man was very nice, now that’s unusual. Thank you Moda . Mr and Mrs Ashby. Staffordshire

Whatever you do don’t buy from these cowboys, I ordered 11 oak doors 33” 30” and 27”, the 33” and 30” doors were fine but the 27” doors were a totally different colour, after numerous calls and emails to moda and not getting the problem resolved I’ve now referred it to my card company to resolve the issue as moda seem to think this is acceptable. It’s a case of once they have your money there not interested anymore DON’T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY YOU’VE BEEN WARNED
