Absolutely do NOT buy from this company. We had our umbrella out less than a week, it was in the closed position with the velcro tie around it. The tie was weak, a regular storm passed through, blew the umbrella open and damaged the very cheap, plastic hardware. Just emailed the company for a replacement and was told that the warranty only covers wear and tear, not damages by storms. Unclear how this damage could have been prevented, except to bring the umbrella inside when not in use. I would have included pictures of the damage but do not see that as an option. Extremely disappointed in the product, should have bought from Frontgate.

Excellent, sturdy umbrella and stand. Came well packed and on time. The base is large but is needed to support the sturdy weight of the umbrella. Good buy.

The extra space underneath this umbrella makes it seem like the canopy just floats above you. Really makes the dining experience better when you don't have to peer through the umbrella support.
Very well made umbrella and obviously commercial quality. Delivery was slightly longer than listed on the website, but it was not one of their standard orders.
UPDATE: 5 days later Midtown shipped a replacement part which works and overall I'm happy with the umbrella. 1 Star subtracted due to: * poor QC * ineffective square knots tied in the umbrella cover string * poor quality stitching in the protective cover around the support rod compartment ORIGINAL:Received my Grande Square Umbrella, can't assemble it because the foot pedal doesn't allow the mechanism to spin. Seems defective.

I have purchased three umbrellas from Midtown this season. They are excellent quality for the cost and their warranties are unbeatable. Its easy to buy a replacement canopy if you want to change up color, and very inexpensive if you choose their Terylast fabric. Shipping was free and fast to the US. We inquired about an accessory and they sent it for free, which was above and beyond. Also, I have sought advice in chat and they were knowledgeable, and for a question they couldn’t answer, they facilitated contact directly with the warehouse. I’ll be shopping Midtown exclusively for umbrellas from here on out.
I’ve had a great experience with their customer service. Unfortunately our Grande umbrella broke and they’ve been so great to work with to get a replacement.
I have asked information on PFAS in the material, but I did not get answer.
