Great product. Installation was a breeze. It does what it is intended to do. The center lock screw is nice, but would be nicer if it is a thumb screw. A little bit pricey though but highly recommended.

The hood is amazing. I was just in the process of plotting how to make something like this myself and bemoaning the fact that the end result would likely not look very aesthetic. So, I was incredibly happy to find a professional company had already beat me to properly manufacturing something like this - and when all things are taken into consideration, it was potentially cheaper to purchase the Microvisor as I am certain I would have gone through excess raw material in my trial and error process. Anyway, on to the product... This was very easy to install. I have a standard microwave (whirlpool) and did not need the extra installation package. The brushed stainless steel is very classy, and, most importantly, the hood works like a charm. I can see the visible difference as at least 80-90% of the fumes from cookware on the front burners is now properly pulled into the microwave vent. I cook a lot with cast iron, so this is really going to save me from having to clean grease off of every surface in my kitchen. One thing I think the company can work on for future models is to reduce the rattling the hood makes in it's bracket when brushed against. It's no big deal as I'm really not messing with it much, but it would increase the feeling of value to the product if this could be resolved. Either way, this gets an easy five stars out of five - I would buy this again in a heartbeat!

Very easy to order! fast shipping. I have been disappointed with how the microwave vent worked by itself and I am excited to see it transformed into a range hood with the Microvisor! Can't wait to get it.

Update on my review. I've emailed the seller to complain about the issues I am experiencing and the email was bounced back to me. Try customerservice @microvisorhood.com and you will get undeliverable address warning email. How do you expect us; customers, to communicate with the company when the customer service email is not valid???

I love my Microvisor hood. It arrived damaged, and I notified the company and within a few days I received a new one. It works well, and looks great.

Very easy to install.

The Microvisor Hood installed very easy. The directions were clear and concise. If yu have a Phillips screwdriver, and any knowledge at all it should take less than 10 minutes to install. I believe my wife could have done this without any problem, but she was too busy making dinner. I got the easier job. The hood works well, but it will not completely stop any steam from escaping up the front of your cabinets, unless the fan in the microwave is stronger than our GE's fan. Ours claims to draw at 3CFM. We gave it a test before and after installing and it made a significant reduction in the amount of steam rising up the cabinet on the front burners.

In general excellent. The only issue I had with the unit was the slot you have to put the screw through to attach the mounting bar is just a little small for two reasons. One holding the screw with your fingers and guiding it into the microwave screw hole and two i was using a small kit screw driver (was not at my house) and the screw driver head mount was to large to fit through the slot by about a 1/16 or 1/8 inch. Having a slightly wider slot would really help.

Very easy to install, it took me literal 5 minutes, and it fit perfectly my microway.

My original micro visor was damaged when I received it. I contacted George at customer service. He was very professional and helpful on obtaining a replacement. Everything was very smooth. Thank you.

The original hood was damaged by the USPS butMicrovisor replaced it quickly with no debate. The hood itself was very easy to install and works great!

My experience with Microvisor Hood was great. I returned the first item because I changed my mind, and got my reimbursement right away. Then I decided to buy it again and the product was delivered fast and works great.

So far, so good. The hood was very easy to install, but we haven't had it long enough to really tell how well it performs. It looks good, though.
