like it , works as shown on tv. wife suggest's it should SLIDE back when not in use, instead of removing it. use soft close slides mounted on each side. just a thought. thanks from.george
The quality is good it just sticks out too far and I emailed a return request and haven’t heard anything back yet. I need to get a response before the 30 days so I can get my money back.

Very easy to install and matches our appliances perfectly
I'm happy with it, and it is a good first generation. A more stable mounting method is needed. If you so much as bump the shield it wobbles and makes some noise. That tells me that it will get worse over time. There is only one screw tightening the shield to the bracket (which is securely mounted on the microwave). I would have at least 3-screws holding the shield in place in the mounting bracket. I would also reinforce the mounting bracket so the shield cannot wobble in it.
Received the item on time. Easy to install and works great. Very satisfied! 👏
This works perfectly for kitchens that do not have vent pipes directly to the outside. Must have a microwave oven that allows you to insert charcoal filters so that the odors can be absorbed.

It’s ok a little pricy for what it is. Also since I’m tall it’s upper hard to see the knobs now.

I got the hood quickly and it was very easy to install. It has cut the cleanup of the upper cabinets down 75%. Before, the microwave exhaust was mixing with the food smoke and fats and spreading it across the room. Now that most of the food smoke is going through the microwave filter, we don't have as much cleaning to do post saute.
Could not figure out to install. Sent it back for a refund.
