Immediate ship, good updates. Installation is what I would rate as fairly difficult, involving somewhat stressful body positioning, due to the nature of the stove-microwave. The very simple removal of the existent three screws, then holding the new bracket in place is kinda’ tough for even my 60 year old friend who’s in fair physical condition- and he does have high level mechanical skills (machinist & Harley owner). It was a struggle. Could be worse. Instructions were quite vague about the screw(s) included to lock the hood in place. My wife’s first perception that it was flimsy, but as she has now figured out, it is as heavy gauged metal as it needs to be, not a shelf, but a smoke hood. Wish it could be bigger- wider and longer. It performs as promised, i would recommend it’s purchase and I’m glad we bought it.
I just used the microviser for the first time and it worked. I have a smoke alarm near my stove and whenever I got smoke from cooking and opened the door, the alarm would go off. It was very annoying. Yesterday I used the oven to cook some chicken lollypops which do product some smoke. I kept the vent on and no alarm. Thank you for producing such a needed item.
I am absolutely THRILLED with my "Microvisor Hood". It installed very easily and it works wonderfully. I solved a smoke and odor problem we had with just the builder installed microwave & fan. Very happy ! I would recommend that it could be even better if the front corners were 'tapered in' some. If they were it would make the front corners less of a hazard to hitting your arm when reaching into the top cabinets next to the microwave. What I'm saying is the 'front edge' of the 'Microvisor Hood' should be brought in by 1 1/2" from each end.

The Microvisor works perfectly. Before we purchased your product we had steam covering our microwave and actually dripping onto our stove, it was messy. Now the steam is redirected where it should be, thank you.

I saw the Microvisor Hood on a TV commercial, and I wanted to know more. So, I looked at the Microvisor website. I'm really glad I did. It provided all of the information I needed and answered all of my questions and the video was really great. So, I ordered the stainless steel model so it would match my existing convection/microwave.. I received it quickly and even installed it the same day. Very easy to install. And it works great and does exactly what it is supposed to. It removes steam and odors from cooking very efficiently, as described. I'm really glad I saw this. It made a dramatic improvement in cooking.
to hard to get into microwave sorry I bought it not good for 5ft person you can bump your head
I thought it might have the Micro visor label on it but I guess not.
The MicroVisor was easy to install, and it was mounted under my microwave in minutes. However, my wife kept banging her hand on it and at least one time she bumped her head on it. She hated the device. Then I recalled reading in the instructions that the mounting screw in the center of the mounting bracket is optional. So I removed the screw, and the MicroVisor, and we continued to operate the microwave as before. Then when we needed the MicroVisor for a time we were cooking with grease on the stovetop, we reinstalled the MicroVisor for that one cooking task. It just slipped into place and did not slip out. So now we slip the MicroVisor in whenever we need it and remove it out of the way when we're not using. Simple, convenient, and easy for use when needed.

Really works great. Especially when cooking vegetables such as broccoli or cauliflower. The fan really takes away the cooking odors.
Great, but price wise it too much.
Took over 3 weeks to receive product due to shipping inefficiency. In the year 2022, company should work on this more and not defer responsibility to third party. Find a solution.
I am very disappointed from the product especially after reading all the positive reviews. 1. The hood is pretty deep so it is kind of in your face when you’re cooking, also blocking the light 2. Pricey for this pretty flimsy piece of metal 3. Does NOT do the work, smoke is still running to the sides, and my retire house still smells like cooking Conclusion: Don’t worth it, if you want your house to be smoke and smell free you should replace your above range microwave with a decent hood with decent suction.

Arrived a lot faster than I expected. Set up was easy. Doesn’t capture 100% of the steam but doesn’t allow it to go straight into my OTR microwave. I had to replace one because of water damage. Hopefully won’t have to do it again.
Fits perfectly. Good, solid design. The missing element for out microwave. Could not be more pleased. Now the smoke goes out the vent and not into the room.
