The visor was straight forward installation, fit and finish was excellent, and appearance is very good. The hood does help with exhausting cooking service, and should protect cabinet surfaces above microwave, but exhaust volume is built into microwave and would improve service if it could be increased….

This hood works very good, we can now use the oven and stove and most of the heat goes out the exhaust like it should.

Fast shipping, well packed, good support on website. I thought maybe the price was a bit high, but it's the only one on the market, so I got it. After replacing an original standalone hood with a microwave, I noticed a lot of smoke and steam go up the front instead of out the exhaust. The Microvisor took a minute to get used to being in place when I reach for the oven controls or inside the microwave, but it's not bad. Installation was a snap, and it seems to stay in place fine w/o the security screw, so you can remove it in a sec if you want. The Microvisor seems to work well, although we're still setting off the ionization smoke detector near the kitchen when stir-frying on a gas stove with the wok on the big burner on full blast. So now I'm replacing the smoke detectors with photoelectric ones, which work better for real smoke and have less false alarms with fumes or steam.

Just the the right size to capture most smoke going into the vent.

I saw this product on an infomercial and was intrigued. I always hated the way my stove would splatter my stainless steel microwave when cooking. I took a chance and ordered it and was pleasantly surprised. We installed it in less then 5 minutes and it matches perfectly. I have not had to wipe down my microwave since using this. It really works!

My only complaint, it tends to stick out too far. Can't see the pots in the back very well. Does a great job at channeling the steam, and smoke, heat up the vent.

Wife didn't like it so asked for return instructions. Email came back with $18 restocking fee, and you pay return freight. If you install it, it is non Returnable and if there's any scratches or anything else it's non Returnable. Also you must have the original packaging or it's non Returnable. Fortunately we just held it up and she made the decision. I hope it's not damaged in shipping on the way back.

Simple yet effective! The steam from your cooking won't be discoloring your kitchen cabinets no time soon when you install the Micro Visor Hood. I saw the commercial on Newsmax, called the number and actually spoke to the owner/inventor of said product & company. Don't take my word, buy it/try it, you'll love it!
