I bought an L7 torch well over 12 months ago. Even though I had lost the receipt the company accepted the torch for repair when the focus mechanism became stuck. The torch was returned to me in fully working order. This is excellent service in my book and far away from the service provided by another well known torch manufacturer I could name.
I am in the EU and was caught for Vat twice and import duties. I went to LedLenser.com but got the pop saying it looked like I was from Ireland, is that correct? Click yes and the site is then displayed in English and in €s. I purchased a flashlight with VAT included. A few days later I received an email from DHL looking for duties and Vat. It was then I realized that the .com site had redirected to Ledlenser UK. They charged me Vat despite them not being in the EU, and there was no on page info or popup saying that a double Vat and duty would be charged. When I contacted them I got this reply: "As we are edlenser.co.uk, we serve UK and Ireland, and all stock is based in the UK. There is full information on duties and taxes on our delivery page and we highly recommend that this is read prior to placing your order: ledlenser.co.uk /pages/shipping Somewhat condescending. Because we ship to Ireland from here, the website recognises that you are based in Ireland and presents you euro prices as this is the currency you will be paying in. You do pay 23% VAT to us, as we pay this onto the tax service. However, on occasion this is miscalculated by DHL and is unfortunately outside of our control. On these occasions we instruct you to pay the VAT request to DHL and we will refund you the charge. Once paid, please send us a copy of the paid charge confirmation and we will action a refund against your order for you. If we can help with anything else, please do let us know. Kind regards, Jen" Now that is total BS. They are not entitled to collect EU vat and I would always have had to pay it to the courier. Nice to hide behind their T&Cs. Let's see if they do a refund, but I guess in most cases if the customer does not complain they will definitely keep it. I should not have had to prove that I paid (I did send them the paid receipts) as they were never entitled to charge it in the first place. I have the flashlight now but have found the type C charger is so loose when plugged into the torch that if you move it or touch the wire it stops charging. I tried it with an alternative charging wire and it is also loose. I am going to try and deal with them for a return because of the problem returning with customs and Ledlenser's responses to me above. I will just put tape on it when charging.
High bean kept turning off.... Took it back to shop, they said they replaced it . Doubt if they really did...same thing waz happening
Meine zuvor angegebene Bewertung mag ich hier korrigieren. Ich teile keinesfalls die Erfahrung Anderer, dass Led Lenser einen sehr schlechten Support hat. Meine Reklamation wurde unverzüglich bearbeitet, das Ersatzteil ist in Auslieferung. Daher erhöhe ich auf vier Sterne und mag anmerken, dass ich mit dem Kundenservice sehr zufrieden bin!
The battery box cover on my 10 year old headtorch broke, I called to ask if possible to buy a replacement, great service, replacement put in the post arrived 3 days later and all for free, many thanks.
Solange die Lampen funktionieren ist alles gut. Bei Problemen antwortet der Support prompt und verweist auf eine gesonderte Seite, auf der man die Einsendung des Produktes einleiten kann. Eine Antwort kommt dann jedoch nicht mehr! Also wird die Lampe im Müll landen, schade, bei dem Preis. Ich kann das Unternehmen nicht empfehlen!
my 18 month old Ledlenser headlight developed a fault on the charging circuit (would not charge battery). I had registered the light from new, emailed them about retuning for repair, posted according to instructions these lights are not cheap. By return of post a new headlight arrived. I cannot praise this company enough. well done.
Sagenhaft. Sowohl die Qualität als auch der Service. Hab sowas vorher noch nie erlebt. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. A+++++
Mir ist mein Ladekabel für meine Stirnlampe gestohlen worden. Es ist unmöglich von Ledlenser das benötigte Ersatzteil zu bekommen. Noch schlimmer ist, dass diese Firma es offenbar nicht für befindet, auf Beschwerden zu antworten. Ganz schlechter Service
Meine Stirnlampe wurde nach ca. 8 Jahren nach einem Gehäusebruch anstandslos gegen eine neue Lampe getauscht. Das machen nicht viele Firmen!! Danke Ledlenser
die Qualität der Produkte ist super, doch fallt niemals auf eine Reklame Mail rein, in denen Euch ein Pris versprochen wird, aber dann ein wesentlicher höherer Preis abgebucht wird.
I’m always a bit sceptical of companies warranty claims, but when my very well used head torch packed in a couple of months away from the end of its 5 year warranty (I’m a plumber and had used it almost all day every day for nearly 5 years), I expected a bit of push back when I sent it in for repair looking like it had been thoroughly abused it’s entire life. I put it in the post on Saturday, and received a brand new updated model in the post on Tuesday. That’s a warranty I can get behind, and a company I thoroughly recommend.

Habe für meine 7 Jahre alte H14R.2 das Batteriefach als Ersatzteil angefragt. Sehr schnell wurde mir mitgeteilt das dieses Teil verfügbar ist und kostenlos an mich versendet wurde. 3 Tage später kam es mit Post. Vielen Dank für diesen super Kundenservice
Ledlenser excellent customer support. I emailed the support team, to purchase a replacement Switch battery unit for a very old P14 torch probably bought in 2010. Nicole emailed me back within hours for my address, the part was with me in two days F.O.C. What can I say, I don't understand how anyone could be negative about this level of service. Quality of the products in my experience is second to none, I have Three P7 and a P14. All used while I was a service engineer in the telecommunications and Radio communications industry, on call out at night in all weather's. If you question my honesty, look at my other reviews here and on google, you can find reviews that are well diserved, positive and negative.
