Hi Folks I bought four Peeler knives with wooden handles on them. I am using one of them at the minute and the steel in this knife is already starting to rust and black spots are appearing in it. The steel is not good quality and I'm sorry I purchased this product. Victorinox SwissClassic Vegetable Knife Set I have had a set for nearly 20 years and love them. They are still sharp and work perfectly. I have a friend who is getting married so I bought a set for her too. They arrived promptly and in time for her bridal party. The packaging was a bit over the top--two small knifes in a rectangle box (about 45cm by 5 cm square) but that didn't affect the product. I, and my friend, are very happy.

I needed to replace the battery in my LedLenser headtorch and really struggled to find a retailer that had genuine branded batteries in stock and were willing to ship to Ireland. Knivesandtools.ie had exactly what I needed at a very reasonable price. Shipping only took a couple of days and my headtorch is back to being as good as the day I bought it. I ordered a Wusthoff cutting board on August 17th which by October 17th was not usable. The meat motif motif fell off after 3 weeks and then the board buckled so much it rocked on a flat surface. I applied treatment to the board when it arrived as recommended but the item was not fit for use. Contacted Customer Service and it has now been a further month without a solution. CS said they are waiting to hear from Wusthoff. Not good enough on the back end which is a shame. Item is not fit for purpose or use
The product was good; however, the delivery experience (via UPS) was a complete disaster that took up at least 3.5 hours of my time to resolve. The seller did not contribute in any way shape or form to resolving my issues with their shipping provider. I will not be purchasing from Knivesandtools.ie again for this reason.
