Nach meiner Bewertung vom 02.04.24 hat sich umgehend der Support gemeldet und geholfen.Hat ein paar Tage gedauert,bis die App richtig lief, aber egal,es wurde sich Mühe gegeben um das Problem zu lösen und der Erfolg ist da.

HotSpot Shield VPN is a ripoff and thieves. I signed up for the free trial on Mar 6. Within an hour I cancelled and uninstalled everything (remember the 6th was when Facebook and everything was down for part of the morning). Anyway, they told me they couldn't find my account. Then about a week later I got charged $12.99 on my debit card. I immediately contacted customer service (what a joke!). Again they can't find my account unless I give them a bunch of information. The only thing I'm not going to give them are the first four numbers AND the last four of the debit card. I only provide them with the last four. Do NOT tell me that in this day and age they cannot find my information with all the information I gave them. They put the charge thru, but now can't find it. BULL! I am so frustrated and I told them, that because of the run around I will be posting everywhere what a scam company they are.
My 3 years premium product have ended and Nino from the cc helped me to extend it for another 3 years! I used so many vpns during the years until I arrived to hotpost shield 6 years ago, since then I'm using hotspot shield regulary as my VPN, great spped, not issue, unblocking all the websites that are in my country when I'm abroad, I couldn't tell something better than this! And now, I'm entering the circle of the 9 years. Very recommand, useful so much daily !
I have been a paying customer for more than ten years but not any longer. Every year at renewal it stops working and it takes days for them to sort it. Well, this is the last time.
1. Ich wollte das Konto löschen aber ist unmöglich. 2. Kundendienst inexistent. Es gibt einen automatisierten BOT der aber überhaupt nichts versteht. 3. Dann kommt ein Email mit Hinweis auf ein 2. Email mit der Bitte die Form auszufüllen. Nur, das 2. Email hat keinen Inhalt. Erneut monieren. Wieder ein Email mit Hinweis auf 2. Email aber auch hier, kein Inhalt. Problem nicht gelöst aber neues Email mit der Bitte den Kundenservice zu beurteilen.
This VPN is #2 I ever used. I have it included in my Dashlane Premium subscription and it rocks. The VPN is ultrafast. The customer care is decent. The VPN's security is stable. I wouldn't compare this VPN to NordVPN because NordVPN is better. But Hotspot Shield was my 2nd best option out of all VPNs I tried. I am talking in experience. I am on Hotspot Shield because it is cheaper for me as I have Dashlane. 5/5 STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT

Sensaciones encontradas. Por un lado, la VPN es muy rápida, desbloquea mucho contenido y tiene servidores en muchos países. Por otro lado, el servicio de atención al cliente es muy flojo (como mínimo por mail): responden con frases predeterminadas, cada vez es una persona diferente la que responde y no parece que lean lo que ha preguntado/comprobado el compañero, y no solucionan el problema que se les plantea. Hace poco dejé de poder acceder a una plataforma de streaming y sus respuestas son siempre las mismas: prueba tal cosa, dame tal información... Pruebo lo que dicen y les doy la información que piden y cuando les digo que no funciona vuelven a pedirme que pruebe las mismas cosas y me piden la misma información. Dan por hecho que el problema está en mi conexión o en mi móvil, a pesar de que les he dicho varias veces que con otra VPN que activé en periodo de prueba sí podía desbloquear la plataforma. Lo dicho, decepcionado.
Subscription sneaked up on me from 12.99 to 95.99 very quietly with literally little improvement in fact the connection quality is worse. I am outraged by their unethical business practices. Avoid at all cost. Customer service only replies with passive aggressive not very usefull answers. I am still trying to get confirmation my subscription has indeed been cancelled.

Colleagues, this is some kind of chaos. Please stop for good, I've been trying to stop auto-debits for 3 months now. I wrote to technical support twice to help me stop payments. I ask you to return at least part of the funds that were written off for an unused service, even if it was 13 euros that were written off several dozen hours ago, I would already be grateful for that. I calmed down that month, because I thought that after my letter they had returned the money to my card, but no, it was delayed again. The service still does not work in my country, no matter how many times I have visited. You can see from the inputs that I haven’t used it for several months. Well, as much as possible:( no matter how many times I tried to cancel this subscription..
