Further to my previous review after purchasing the Golden Curl styling wand from a pop-up shop in West Quay Shopping Center, I have received a refund! The manager in the Center was very apologetic and told me that they have since changed their policy on refunds. Those particular wands are not infrared! They do not use steam and they will damage your hair (as with all hot hair tools). In their defense, they are quite easy to use with the knobbly bit to rest on your head, and I know that Golden Curl's online products are good, (some are actually infrared) going by the reviews. So there you have it! I hope that helps.

Please don’t buy from this company. They don’t openly tell you that they don’t offer refunds. It’s all about sales and targets and aren’t bothered about ripping off customers with £200 products. Wish I’d just stayed with GHD.

Did you like me buy any electrical hair styling tool from a fair/trade show recently from any company stating these names.. Golden Curl Exclusive retail Ltd Excel beauty Aria Beauty And the product is faulty, mis sold, not the same as the one they demo. And you were referred to contact this company ARIA Beauty through a forum with no reply? And told it was warranty related issue? If you are like me, and having no resolution and losing out of £100s. Please email faulty_straighteners at hotmail dot com I believe many people on here have been through the same as me. And I want help people like me.

My Golden curl stopped working after 3 times use. I contacted the helpdesk and was very pleased with the service. After 3 days I received a new device with a little extra. Wauw, what a service! 4 stars because the first device was quickly broken.

Alles super gelaufen. Da mein Glätteisen defekt war, habe ich ein neues Gerät bekommen. Alles innerhalb der Garantiezeit ohne Probleme. Innerhalb von 3 Tagen war das neue Gerät bei mir. Vielen Dank für die unkomplizierte Abwicklung.

Hervorragendes Glätteisen, welches ich leider nach 3 Jahren einschicken musste, da anscheinend das Kabel defekt war. Somit musste ich die 5Jahres-Garantie in Anspruch nehmen. Ich kann das Unternehmen und den Service nur loben. Ich hatte vom 1. Kontakt eine perfekte Unterstützung und mir wurde direkt ein neues Ersatzgerät zugeschickt. Alles sehr kundenorientiert und freundlich.

Sehr unkomplizierte Reklamationsabwicklung und persönlicher Kontakt mit dem Kundenservice per Email. Das ersatz produkt wurde nach 4 Tagen geliefert

Die Reklamation verlief reibungslos und obwohl ich mich gerade in einem anderen Land befinde, habe ich das neue Glätteisen innerhalb von einer Woche erhalten. Wirklich super!

My old device was out of order in Dec 2021, then I sent email to customer service, they gave response quickly and instructions to me how to do, and they also sent a new device for replacement quickly and efficiently, thanks so much for all of great help and providing excellent customer services! It’s very good experience.👍👍👍

Ich war sehr zufrieden, der Umtausch klappte Problemlos. Doch dieser kostet leider auch 25 €, das wurde einem beim Verkauf nie gesagt, ansonsten bin ich mit dem Gerät und der Garantie Leistung sehr zufrieden.

Used the warranty as my flatiron had gotten some scratches, got a new one within a couple of days, and excellent service!

I've two Golden Curl products and enjoy using them for over 3 years now. I've got an issue recently with one of the products but the problem was efficiently solved, so I continue to enhance my curls with amazing Golden curler :)

Bonjour Jai acheté ce produit dans une galerie marchande ou les vendeuses vous proposent une demo sur vos cheveux puis elle vous dirigent vers une édition limitée lol vous partez sur la confiance un produit que vous achetez à 150e qui vaut 129e chez darty... Vous arrivez à la maison le produit ne fonctionne pas evidemment je suis retourner dans la galerie marchande elle n'etait plus la. Apreés plusieurs relance sur le site on me demande de payer 20e de frais de port pour un produit qui n'ajamais fonctionné A fuir.... pour faire marcher la garantie vousavez 20e de frais de port mesdammes faite attention

Really impressive! I rarely style my hair because I hate the struggle of using hair wands but this is a game changer! Very quick to heat up and style and even aggressively brushing through it wouldn’t ruin the curls at all. I have thick mid length hair and Flory from Birmingham's bullring store styled my hair effortlessly in 15 minutes!. So happy for this purchase

Do not buy. I was approached at the bullring bham about these straightners, I allowed the gentleman to do a demonstration of curls on my hair, and while he did this he explained all the different features that tool had and mentioned if you click a button a certain amount of times you'd access these different features, also how good they are for your hair and the style will stay as fresh as it was the moment you had it done even after 2/3 days, honestly after my friends wowed about how good it had been styled I was sold and purchased them, I thought my ghds are on their way out, it was my bday so thought why not treat myself. Low and behold, 2 hours later my hair was flat and frizzy and noticed my freshly professionally coloured hair that had been done 2 days before looked rubbish and my ends looked like the ends had fried a bit, annoyed is an understatement after it wasn't a cheap salon trip ( that being said I don't mind paying for quality ) To make matters worse when I got home and opened the card box that held the tools I noticed there was only an on/off switch and a heat dial control and no button as the guy had described, so I checked the manual to see if I was missing anything, nope, nothing, no button and none of the different settings he had mentioned on my demonstration. I was basically mis sold these with false claims. Also they don't do refunds!!! What a shock! Anyway I've looked into trading standard LAW and you are infact obliged to give a full refund if you was misled into buying a product or sold a product that wasn't described as it was... So I will be going straight back to the stall to get a refund, failing that, I will be contacting trading standards about the selling tactics of your employees and poor products to assure no one else has the same problem, because judging the real reviews there are others that have fallen victim to this

Unfortunately, my great Golden Curl curling iron no longer worked after 2.5 years. The customer support helped me here very quickly and in a friendly manner and arranged for a replacement. I was very happy that I not only received a functioning device back, but also a completely new, original packaging. If I could lose stars here, it would be 5. Conclusion: Absolutely recommendable
