The weather was too warm for my raspberries to travel. .This was obviously a blip as we are really well looked after. There is a staff shortage due to illness aparently.

Does what it says on the tin: no muss, no fuss. Items I ordered arrived as described and when promised.

General quality of produce is extremely high - the fish is especially good and the seasonal fruit and vegetables also excellent. The fresh butter is out of this world - like butter from a bygone age. Staff try really hard to ensure customer satisfaction, I would recommend.

Fabulous produce, great service, friendly communication.

First time I've ordered from Fresh Food Express and am very impressed with the quality of the produce. Not sampled all I ordered yet but the Scallops and Hake Fillets were excellent...the size of the fillets are bigger than what I previously purchased elsewhere and cheaper. Once I work my way through the order will definitely re-order!

My Healthy Kitchen meal was amazing really fresh id bought the chicken paella with lots of chorizo slices as a treat as an evening meal, its was very filling and the taste was restaurant quality impressive,I would defiantly share with a friend.

First class service and produce Started buying from Fresh Food Express after a chance discovery on Twitter - best find EVER. WIde range of food has seen me try products I'd never before considered and the best news - it's all local(ish) so let's me buy direct; support the little guys in the area ;eat top class foods and customer service that's second to none. Willing to go the extra mile doesn't come close when I think about last minute deliveries on Christmas Eve. If you haven't enjoyed fish from Arbroath; beef from Glenshee; venison from the hills and honey from the Glens - WHY NOT - get tapping that keyboard you'll not regret it.

Prompt service and fantastic flavour

I come from Dundee, close to Arbroath, where the Flemings Steak and Gravy pies i ordered come from. I've lived in south east England for most of my life now and hadn't had one of my favourite pies for about 25 years. I ordered 16 and they arrived beautifully packaged in ice packs and insulation in perfect condition and ready to eat. They did not disappoint. They were exactly as i remembered and whisked me straight back home as i ate my first one. I will be buying more! Only one small thing, the delivery guy left the package on my doorstep and not in the place i specified on the order. Not to worry though, they were still there and perfect none the less.

We have ordered lobsters, scallops and some Highland cattle beef for a special occasion. All arrived well packed in a wool insulating layer which kept the products chilled. We tried Fresh Food Express for the first time, had some reservations over ordering food online but were not disappointed. Proud of supporting our local producers!

I've been ordering from Fresh Food Express for some time and enjoy eating the best that the country has to offer, which is superb. If there's something they don't have available, I've only had to ask to get. It's a great service for in season produce fruit and veg too, not just meat and fish. I'm waiting patiently for the first of the Scottish asparagus. The packaging makes a good winter coat for non-hardy plants too. My geraniums have survived the winter outside.
