If I could give zero stars I would… have had this company for 7 years now and rarely used them until this past week my hot water tank began leaking from anode rod on top tank is vintage 2012 installed 50 gal gas filled claim they sent their only contractor out to look at it ….big dawg mechanical… contractor said they would be back next day to repair and replace anode rod ….next business day I received notice if I wanted my tank fixed they would have to replace it I would have to pay said contractor 1600 dollars for modifications…code upgrades and disposal of old tank … I asked for second opinion I submitted my own contractor estimate 2200 dollars they rejected it! Terrible responsiveness and ability to contact them my premiums wuth first American 850 dollars annual premium basic plan…. Claim settled I will be putting my own tank in they are sending me a check for 500 dollars ! What kind of hot water tank can you buy these days for 500 dollars go elsewhere for home warranty needs I’m 69 years old I will be doing my own tank install can’t buy much of a hot water tank for 500 dollars these days look at other companies don’t piss away your premiums ! You not in good hands with this company!! And no first American you have not followed up with an e mail to me you don’t want to find my name that’s why I await your e mail follow up Oh here it is first American the service request number 314399723

I placed the claim. The company to which was assigned to me contacted me promptly. They were on time for the assigned appointment time. They took care of my issue professionally and timely. I was very pleased with the process and outcome.

When i signed up for your company, i read the contract word for word and it said it covered the water softener. I recently made a claim to fix my water softner and was told it wasn't covered and it was an extra policy that i need to sign up for when i signed up. I told them that the agent didn't mention the water softner and it doesn't show up on any extra appliances listed on your site. So strike 3. And it takes forever to get Techs out to fix issues.

So I now have a 20 year old house. Stuff happens. I've been. A customer for almost 13 years with two properties. You often have to fight to get coverage that you are paying for. I most recently had a fire from pool equipment (covered by supplemental coverage I pay for). They refused to cover for the pump but also cancelled my agreement come April. Basically it's a giant scam. Find one more reputable.

I was told I couldn't see the policy until I make the first payment. The day they took payment out of my account, I requested cancellation. I was sold this policy saying I had $15000 to use anyway I need it. I ask about specific things such as hot water heater. They said, all covered out of $15k. The policy read it had a cap of $500!!!!! Terrible coverage! I requested immediately camcellation. They fighting me saying the put a lien in my house. This company has deceptive sales pitches......there are more issues like this.....beware! To date over one month later they still haven't returned my money or verified cancellation!

the contractor was supposed to come back to check my dryer again as it is taking longer to dry clothes than it did .. I'm being proactive because there is a very loud noise coming from the dryer & the heating element may be going out .. so I do not want to close this claim

FAHW quickly assigned the service request. Initially uncomfortable that they had assigned it to Sears, but the Sears tech was efficient, courteous and technically competent. The repair was completed on time and with little hassle.

Don't waste your money or your time. I placed a service request for my dryer. First they don't call you to schedule the appointment for days. Then they came out and did a poor job at fixing. I called back to request that they come out to check it again. The came but failed to properly repair. I called again and was told they could not send anyone out again and that the dryer is operating normal. I was told to get a second opinion, which basically means fix it on your own because we are not doing anything. I am out the service call fee and a repair that has left my dryer ready for the trash. Just got off the phone with a supervisor, who pretty much was useless with getting this problem resolved. I was told since the dryer was working it no longer qualified for a service call regardless of the noises it was making because that is considered functioning. So they can come out and do a half ass job and collect your service call fee knowing they will not have to answer to anyone for the poor repairs. ACCOUNT IS UNDER PRECIADO REQUEST #314238402.

I am a former customer of Firs Ameria, I was there for several years but it is a lie when they say that you change the air conditioning or the condenser. In my case, the company they sent me told me that they never change the condenser or any large part of the air conditioning. They can only fix something small that first America doesn't want you to change the air conditioning system ever, but now I'm looking at their promotion that says first Ameca if you change the air conditioning it is completely ruined. I also knocked on my garage door. the engine broke down. First, the United States did not want to change the garage door motor. Garage, please don't be fooled. First, America, they just want to steal your monthly money and when your air conditioner or garage door opener is faulty, they don't want to help you. If you repair the refrigerator and the washing machine, be very careful.
