Very late review but thought we needed to after how good our DJ was!! We got married at Holmes Mill in Sept 2023! We had the hottest day of the year so many people had to keep going outside due to how hot the room was but Ste our DJ was so good it kept everyone inside baring a few fresh air breaks 😂! He liaised with us before the wedding and came up with some good ideas on what would and wouldn’t work. Ste was such a good DJ and knew what to play at the right time! Perfect for us! He even listened to us when we said no to requests! Would 100% recommend Ste from exceed!

From start to finish everything seemed so easy and flowed smoothly. Leah was more than helpful in planning the event and our DJ and host for the day wes was absolutely amazing, we couldn't of asked for anything more. He checked in on us throughout the day/evening to make sure everything was how we imagined and also got every guest involved. If your wanting your day to go smooth, not have to worry about anything and excellent entertainment for your guests then look no further! Thankyou so much to the whole team, Alyce and Jason. Our DJ for our wedding night, Wez, was brilliant! He checked in with us a few times during the night to make sure we were happy. Wez played a good mix of songs we’d requested and some other music that got our guests dancing all night. Guests were able to ask for requests too. Exceed are really professional and you have a consultation with them the week of your wedding. Would definitely recommend them! Melissa & Dan x

We had our wedding in June 2024 at Mitton Hall, so Exceed Events came as part of the contract. This turned out to be such a bonus, as we didn’t even need to look to get the best DJ going for our big day! Leah was so helpful leading up to the ceremony and so accommodating to our indecisiveness, she was always at the other end of an email waiting to help. And Tom was the star of the evening reception! As we’ve got a wide range of tastes, he mixed everything together so well to make sure everyone had a moment to be up and dancing, and everyone definitely was! We received so many compliments throughout the night and even though it was a long day, I don’t think anybody left until they couldn’t physically stay up any longer! He even worked with us to do a last minute first dance and it turned out beautifully. All of our thanks and well wishes to everyone at Exceed, you made our night one to remember.

Tom was the DJ at our wedding at Mitton Hall and he was brilliant. All our friends were telling us how good he was. Thanks for helping make a great day even better.

Absolutely amazing. We hired the Magic mirror really easy to order. The staff are amazing. Set up on the day was really quick and the mirror looked brilliant. All of our guests said they enjoyed this and I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you so much

We've hired Exceed quite a few times for light up letters, magic mirror photo booth, and musicians - DJ's, Saxophone and Drums and they've always been incredible, they definitely make memorable events, my go to place for incredible unforgettable entertainment, highly recommended, thank you!

Amazing!! The whole team made our wedding day & night perfect. Shout out to Josh, Leah and Nick who were just fantastic throughout the evening. Everyone had an amazing time and the only down side is how sore everyone’s feet at from dancing all night!! Would recommend these guys in a heartbeat. Thanks again, the new Mr & Mrs Isherwood !! X

DJ Wes was exceptional. He played Afro music, ethnic, british and multiple genres sooo well and entertained our guests beyond imagination. He was a highlight in our wedding reception. All the guests spoke highly of him. We would definately book him again!

We choose exceed as our dj for our wedding at Mitton hall. We then choose to add on room lights and host for the day to our package. We had an initial meeting with Tom to discuss our options of making the most of having a host. Games was discussed and I must admit we was a little concerned about adding games into our wedding breakfast incase it turned our wedding meal into a cheesy Christmas party … we was very glad to be proven wrong. They were a great hit with the guests getting involved without being made to feel uncomfortable. We chose the games which I knew would be suitable for our families and Tom worked with this perfectly. When the guests heard we were doing games they initially thought ‘o dear’ but they absolutely loved them and said it made a really fun and enjoyable atmosphere. Many of our guests commented on how good and beneficial it was having Tom making our wedding stand out to others they have previously been to. Tom had unfortunately wrote his car off on the way to our venue but he still made it on time, put his work head on and no one would have even known which takes some skill. Tom kept checking we were okay with everything ensuring the day ran as smoothly as possible. Tom changed from host to dj in the evening he did not disappoint. We did a playlist but this was changed throughout the evening to suit what were working for guests with our agreement to mix our playlist up a bit. Tom even went along with my very random request to have a pile on. He chucked and got on with it saying it’s the brides request. I then attempted the lift to “ive had the time off my life” Tom embraced this getting the guests involved giving tips on how to safely and easily do the lift. It was a great laugh and brilliant atmosphere. Tom really did make sure the day and evening was hassle free, enjoyable and kept the Atmosphere and laughs flowing. He really does have a talent with speaking on the mic and dealing with wedding guests. Thank you so much. The planning before our special day was bob on with a meeting prior to the event with exceed and nice gentle reminders for us to submit our playlist and order of the day. With so much going on and to plan it was reassuring to know everything was in hand and we was made to keep track of everything to ensure it was all perfectly planned. What a host Wez was! He made everything run smoothly and got all the guest involved. He then transitioned from host to the Dj and got the party started... And what a party it was! I would definitely recommend Wez as a host at your wedding to make sure it's a wedding to remember

We had our wedding at Eaves Hall and Wez from Exceed Events was our DJ for the evening! Exceed were great to deal with, they made everything really easy and were always quick to reply to emails. Anything that needed changed was always done promptly and nothing was too much hassle! Exceed have a portal to upload song choices to which was really handy and allowed us to add songs we liked (and ones to avoid!). A few days before the wedding, Wez got in touch to talk through the plan for the music. We were super impressed with how thorough he was and the care he took to make sure everything was perfect for us. On the day, Wez was on time and we had a chance to see the set up before the guests. His playlists were brilliant and got everyone up dancing! Thanks so much for a great party, Wez! Would definitely recommend both Exceed Events and Wez for your wedding!

Exceed were the perfect entertainment choice for the evening of our wedding. The platform was easy to use and Tom actually took the time to look at it and stuck with our preferences. We couldn’t believe it when we went to see our evening room set up and we heard Tom doing a sound check and then saw him actually MIXING!! He has been the topic of many conversations regarding our wedding this past week. He was that good, a rumour started that someone had seen him before playing alongside David Guetta 🤣 Tom, you absolutely smashed our Emo/Pop Punk/Drum and Bass dream wedding night!

We had Mike for our wedding at Mitton Hall. Mike was very helpful and friendly from our initial phone call and through the night. Mike made sure that all our requests were catered for and that the songs we didn’t want playing were not played! Mike made sure several times that we were happy throughout the night and played something for everyone, our dance floor was busy all night. Cheers.

We had such a great experience with Exceed. They were so organised and communicated with us throughout and right up to the wedding. The portal is brilliant and allows the DJ to tailor the music to your taste. The magic mirror was perfect and so much fun. Leah, Zech and Josh are all so lovely and made the process so easy. DJ went out of his way to ensure we had a good night. Tailored the music to our liking and then was able to pick up on what people were enjoying and weren’t and focused on that 10/10 couldn’t reccomend enough thank you!

We met Ste at our friends wedding in December and we instantly saw how talented he was, we literally danced all night. We already had a DJ through the venue we were getting married at but unable to meet him or even see his work we decided we could not take the risk especially knowing how important a DJ is at a wedding. So we got in touch with Leah at Exceed who was fabulous she did everything she could to accommodate our wedding and we were made up when we received the confirmation Ste would be our wedding DJ!! Ahead of the big day we imported our songs onto the easy to use portal at Exceed and a week before the wedding we had a meeting with Ste to discuss every detail, he was professional, organised and passionate about making sure our special day was everything we wanted it to be. On the day of the wedding Ste smashed it, he took charge of organising the cake cut and first dance ensuring the guests were all as excited as us. He then went on to ensure we had the best night with a fabulous mix of our favourite tunes. We can not recommend Exceed or Ste enough if ever we want a DJ we know exactly who to contact.
