The child’s chair is exactly the design I was looking for. I bought it as a gift for my granddaughters 1st birthday and felt the lack of finish on the untreated wood wasn’t suitable for a young child. It was also quite rough in places. After rubbing down with an extra fine glass paper and a couple of coats of varnish it is ideal. It can now be easily cleaned without staining the wood. Her parents are delighted with it.

Delivery was very slow with no communication between ordering and finally receiving the items 4 weeks later. Ordered two side tables that eventually arrived in perfect condition and very happy with the quality.

I am someone who values customer service partly because I struggle with anxiety. I recently placed my first order with this company. I was nervous about it. When the item arrived, I wasn't happy with it, but the company sorted everything out for me. I think the real test of a business is how they treat you when things go wrong. Thank you!

I ordered two Hampstead soft grey & pale oak 1-drawer bedside tables from Ellis Home Interiors (EHI) on 17 March and they were safely delivered on the 24th. As I knew this Bentley Designs (BD) range was being discontinued, I used the LiveChat service on the EHI website to confirm stock was available. The sales person I was 'chatting' with checked the stock position at BD during our conversation, and confirmed a delivery timescale of 10-14 working days. Having this reassurance, I was happy to place the order for this furniture, which was very keenly prices in comparison to other online furniture suppliers. So, good communications, competitive price and a fast and efficient service. With all these plus points, I shall have no hesitation in using, and recommending, Ellis Home Interiors in the future.

Good price, really good quality piece of furniture and a quick delivery. Very happy with purchase. Only downside was that the chosen delivery provider didn’t take away the wooden pallet it was delivered on so I had to deal with that. Not a major issue and would definitely buy from this family-run company again.

I saw a table from this company that I really liked and loved the idea of the ‘smartop’ scratch resistant technology in particular due to having a child with complex special needs. First problem. At the time I placed the order- it was sold to me as ‘delivery within 5 days’ which was another reason I ordered from this store. However, once the confirmation email came through, it said delivery would be 10-14 WORKING days from the DUE DATE of the order confirmation, so not 5 days at all. Delivery arrived a week and a half later (at the time I hadn’t realised on the confirmation email they had actually changed the delivery timescale so had no idea where my order was). I felt completely misled having an item sold to me with incorrect delivery times. Second problem. The item arrived damaged in 3 different ways. The pre-drilled holes in the legs did not align, the legs had an overlapping design which did not fit together correctly- and was quite far out (about 4/5cm) so quite significant, and the ‘smartop’ scratch resistant technology table top arrived with a scratch which wasn’t even that deep so I don’t believe that the table is as scratch resistant as it is made out to be. I also feel the quality of the item, irrespective of the faults, was a bit of a let down and certainly would never have paid full price for it. I contacted the company straight away with the issues and they were very helpful in trying to resolve the issue. I advised I did not want a replacement due to not being satisfied with the quality and had the item collected days later for a full refund. Problem 3. The return tracking had the incorrect information entered so I was unable to follow the tracking to confirm safe receipt. Problem 4. It turns out the table was returned to the manufacturer, and they were waiting for the manufacturer to get back to them before they would issue me a refund. Apparently the manufacturer did not respond. However, me receiving a refund is not reliant on the shop sorting their issue with the manufacturer and I should not have to wait for a manufacturer before I can get a refund from the shop, it’s ridiculous! You don’t take a top back to the shop and they tell you they need to wait to hear back from the manufacturer before they refund you. Still no refund. I’ve had to request a chargeback with my card issuer because their refund practice is quite concerning and I don’t have much hope that they even will. If the chargeback fails, then it will be county court proceedings. Bad experience from start to finish which could have been saved by dealing with the return efficiently- confirming safe receipt and not relying on a third party who is of no concern to me before issuing a refund. I would have thought given the poor service received up to the point they received the return, they would act promptly to prevent it from becoming a full-blown complaint as to bring the matter to a close and not have the customer leave a bad review. Had the return have been dealt with efficiently, I would have just left it there and not have left a bad review.

Appalling service. I purchased 2 chairs on the 13th February expected delivery to be 7-10 days as stated on the listing. Phoned to find out where items were, and was told they would check with suppliers and come back to me. No one rang me back. Another call made told there was a problem with supply. I cancelled the order as it would arrive too late. Now 14th March and still no refund. Buyers beware!! This company take your money and do not have the stock.

So so poor. Ordered bedside tables. Was informed they would be delivered within 2 weeks. After over a month I had to call them for status and just received an email advising delayed for 2 months. They need to sort their communication out. Joke

I ordered a Mahogany Tray and two Mahogany Cross Wine Racks that were both excellently priced as compared to competitors and arrived quickly, well packaged and in great condition. When one of the packages didn't arrive, the customer care team were extremely efficient in dealing with my problem and located the item very promptly. I was extremely impressed and satisfied with the service, especially as I'd previously ordered the tray from a competitor who was very slow in replying to enquiries before then telling me, over 2 weeks after the order date, that they did not have any more stock (complete waste of time)!

Absolutely lovely piece of furniture, everyone has commented how beautiful it is. The dining table fits lovely, not too big, not too small just perfect. Delivery was about a week later then should’ve been. The delivery driver was nice and took away the Crate for me. Unfortunately, he didn’t have a man to help him. Still helpful though.

Absolutely love the rattan dog house I’ve bought. Fantastic service. Email txt and phone call confirming delivery time and slot. Then on the morning of the delivery date I received a phone call from the delivery driver letting me know that he was 20 minutes away. Would definitely use this company again.

I am very please I found Ellis Home Interiors. They have been very helpful with my order, and friendly. My order was delivered safely at the agreed time and the item put together quickly with all pacakaging taken away. I woulddefintely use them again .

The table was even better than it looked in the pictures and packaged very well. The delivery men were lovely, unpacked everything for me and checked it over for any damage (there was none). Great experience, couldn't have asked for any more.
