1 star because you can't review zero stars. My items were in the auction on 5/11/24 and I called today to ask when my payment will be made as it was day 28 of their T&C's (won't make payment no sooner than 28 days) Mya who answered my call was extremely rude and refused to inform me of when my payment would be made. The answer given flippantly by Mya was "no sooner than 28 days" repeatedly like a robot and as I explained the 28 days expired today she was unable to give me a date my payment would be made, she blamed the accounts manager for not being there and a new system and did not offer any apology or commit to calling me back with an update on the delay. I asked to make a complaint and I was given a call back by Tracey the Admin Manager. Tracey said she was training Mya......my question is... Who is training Tracey because her customer service skills were appaling. What I was told today by Tracy A couple of buyers havent paid for their lots (explanation) My question When will I get an update Tracy - You just have to wait!!! Until when 2027!!! I asked for an update on Friday ( I had to ask as it certainly wasn't being offered) Tracy - Yeah, you can call in ! Really Tracy I am a customer and your response when I pushed you to commit to calling me (THE CUSTOMER) Tracy said - I can't guarantee it - too many emails and inbound calls to deal with! Appaling customer service from a trainee (could be forgiven) but clearly trained to not satisfy their customers. I would reccommend NOT handing over your valuables to this company who don't want to treat you as a customer should be treated and then hold on to your money for an indefinite period of time!!!

Very helpful and knowledgeable member of staff helped with valuing my cameras. I felt very confident in his choice of which to include in auction. Would certainly use company again. All staff very friendly, highly recommend this company.

So far so very good. I won my first ever auction outside of eBay and I was unsure what to do next as the item I purchased was quite far from my home. I spoke to Allie who quickly found me a very competitive delivery price and after paying I have just spoken to Tracy to confirm arrangements. Both ladies were so helpful and pleasant to talk to. I haven't received the item yet so I can't comment on that and I am hoping it matches the excellent customer service so far. Thank you

Why do I have to give one star to rate this company? They deserve none. Will never deal with them again. They claim they can not charge my credit card to ship the item, yet they did charge it to rack up storage fees. They kept money and the item won. Criminal charges filed.

Very good service, we especially appreciated how helpful and willing they were when picking up the goods from the house. All went smoothly with minimum of effort on our part. Will definitely use them again.

All the staff were super helpful and polite when I took my things to be assessed. Andy then took control and has been assiduous in keeping me up to date with how the auction was being marketed and gaining a social media profile. I was new to the online auction process and he guided me through it all with an excellent outcome. Thanks to all

Terrible Took items to auction and went on sale early March. Have not received payment and east bristol not answering emails or paying No reason why sold items are paid into your account within a week They hold your money and awful customer service Go elsewhere my advice

How I wish I had read all the other dozens of negative reviews of this auctioneer before dealing with them! I had what seems to be a typical experience. I won a WW2 military uniform and upon receiving it I found that the insignia were glued on. This was never done in wartime and the item had obviously been messed around with postwar. I informed the auctioneer and asked for a refund but I was initially ignored and finally received a reply with a extract from their terms and conditions,basically saying that it was just too bad and to get lost. Most other UK auctioneers provide refunds for fakes or non-authentic items but not this crowd. They just want their commission and could not care less about unhappy customers. Well now you have one more unhappy customer who will never buy from you again and I hope everyone else takes note of all these negative reviews and avoids this auctioneer!!

Bought two lots in December online auction. Not cheap items either....several hundred pounds in total. Both paid for, just got home from a work trip and opened my package right now to find only one item delivered but both items on invoice. I had read such good reviews as well, very disappointed with the service I have received from them. UPDATE: Second Item was not posted, Also I was not given an information regarding the fact it was not posted until I chased the matter up. Within one day of contacting them , they have got my item already to post out.

Very happy with the whole process of selling at East Bristol Auction House. The valuer was a really lovely lady who took her time to talk us through the items and was extremley accurate with her valuations giving a very pleasing final result at the auction. Will certainly use again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.. We used this company to auction my deceased brother in law militaria collection. We were assured that we would be kept informed all the way through the process and after it had been lotted we would be able to view and confirm prices etc. We never received any phone calls or communication and after numerous calls to them through the upcoming month never once had any information. The day before the auction i called them again and conveniently the manager was unavailable but was told some of the items were in the December auction and the rest may be in March !! no explanation or sorry for distress caused. I collected all the items straight away as just didn't trust anything they said by now, on collection the manager was still unavailable...very unprofessional service and obviously wouldn't recommend to anyone.

I took a few military items here to see if they were of any value, I was told by John, who was polite, friendly and very helpful, that the whole lot would be estimated to make between £100-£250 at Auction. When it went to Auction, I was pleased to hear that it had been sold for £120. Highly recommend this place.
