I had 2 hiccups with the Early Rider Belter 20 in Large. 1) Within a few days of receiving the bicycle, my daughter started noticing an odd sound. When we looked the bicycle over, we realised that the gear cable got caught on the metal gear that runs the rubber chain and was ripped/damaged. During further inspection, we realised that one of the plastic clips holding the cable to the bicycle frame dropped off and another clip further down was broken. When I contacted customer service, they were quick to respond and they let me know that the clips do sometimes come off so it would be better to secure them with cable ties instead. This is probably an important point to note when you purchase an Early Rider - to modify and replace the existing clips with cable ties. They also said I should bring it in to a local bicycle repair shop to have it fixed. I did feedback that if they had known of the design fault then they should have improvised on it. 2) The bicycle was sent with small pedals with very sharp corners. My daughter cut her shins on those all the time and her shins are covered with cuts and bruises. It was painful watching her get cut constantly so I checked through the Early Rider website to see if they had other pedals available. Strangely, there was the "Early Rider Platform Pedals" with smooth rounded edges that the website stated "are fitted as standard on the 20" and 24" Belter, Seeker, and Hellion bikes". In that case, why was I given something different? I sent an email asking about this and asked if it was a mistake made during packing 4 days ago and did not yet receive a reply so I resent the email today. I did order the standard pedals to replace the sharps ones I was given, so I have ended up spending a lot more extra getting these standard pedals and replacing the gear cable as a result of these design faults. Do note these 2 points when making a purchase. The bicycle mechanism and the bicycle as a whole aside from the design flaws is lovely so I just wanted to highlight these points to potential buyers, ie I would definitely buy the bicycle again but wished that someone had told me all these before purchase. Edit: The technical team replied and did a refund for the pedals seeing that I already purchased replacements (they initially offered to send replacements but did a refund when they saw that I went ahead and made a purchase before their reply). They also offered to send new clips and cable ties and I have to praise their team for their fast service recovery, hence the 5 stars. I believe that a responsive technical support is important and the overall customer service experience is excellent.
The bike is amazing.. quality is superb! All of the members of the Early Rider team that I had contact with were really helpful. I did have a slight delay with DHL (Not Early Rider’s fault) but Georgia went out of her way to resolve it as quickly as possible. Excellent service!! Thank you!

Customer service was great. Contacted Early Rider via their website about shipping to Canada and they told me stock in the States was out for the Bigfoot 12, so they shipped from the UK. Arrived within about a week, which is faster than plenty of shipments in country!

Excellent service from Daf and the team at early rider. I purchased two bikes for Christmas and my children could not be happier. I left the purchases rather late, week before Christmas but the team ensured the bikes were delivered and built up ready for Christmas. The quality of the bikes is outstanding and they are user friendly. I would highly recommend and I will encourage any of my mum friends to buy from early rider. This is the forth Early Rider my son has had, from the Wooden Balance bike through the 16 & 20" Belters to this Hellion 24". He loves them & there has never been one issue with any of them. HE's a small 11, so just big enough for the 24". He is worried what he will get next if the 24" is the biggest he can get!! Come on Early Rider. 26" has to come in the next 2 years. Absolutely beautiful and well built bike.
Bought the Seeker 16 as a Christmas present for my 3.5 year old son who's ready to transition from his balance bike. Yet to see his reaction and not expecting much as he has no idea of what this bike really means and it's very plain, but the quality and attention to detail is outstanding. The plain styling was perfect for adding our own look using vinyl stickers... he wanted a "Batman bike", and he's going to get one! Delivery also exceeded expectations, arriving within a couple of days of ordering.
I don't think a better service is possible. I ordered the bike but had a couple of questions. These questions were answered instantly and the bike was shipped pretty much the same day, even though the web site indicated a lead time of several days. The bike arrive quickly and the quality of the bike is incredible. Not your usual children's bike!
