Hired instructors twice through DTC. Both times had very helpful instructors with good cars. Cleared on second attempt.

Was looking at a wait if 5 months for my driving test... DTC found me a cancelled booking within 2 days for 2 weeks time! Nice and easy from start to finish. Would highly recommend 👌🏼

Terry and Kieran from DTC were great. Passed first time. My usual instructor who was great but too busy and kept cancelling my tests, hence, went to DTC.

Excellent. I got a driving test appointment within 2 weeks in London. I hired a car from them for the test and the instructor Raj Sidhu was amazing.He helped me with the manoeuvres on test day.He gave me confidence and I passed my test at Sidcup.If you are test ready and struggling with test booking I would highly recommend their services.

Amazing service. I got a last minute appointment for my driving test and Kiran from DTC helped me secure an instructor, Raj Sidhu, who was fantastic. On the day of the test, Raj taught very crucial maneuvers and also indicated likely routes since it was heavy traffic conditions. And that’s what happened in the test and cleared (at Morden) with 7 minor faults. Thanks Raj and Kiran for the help!

If it would be in my hands I would have not give them even 1 star. Bloody theives these guys they just take the deposit and keep it. Please do not pay your hard earned money to them. Scam

I’ve been on 3 other driving cancellation sites for the past three weeks and have had nothing through! I signed up to DTC and less than 24 hours they found me a test 5 weeks earlier and in my preferred test site. Worth the extra

This company is a big scam. They took my money and didn’t do anything I waited to get cancellations for driving exams I’ve been trying to get them since September they promised I will get them in one month, it’s now January I’ve been texting them all the time they used to ignore my messages. I asked for refund and they don’t want to give me my money back and claim that there is a admin fee. It is a big scam And I don’t recommend it to anyone

I used this company this summer to book a test, they found one within 7 days. I sadly couldn't do the test the day before. Driving test refunded me. DTC is not responsible for refunds, they provide a service where you only pay once they find you a test. I think it's a great company. I tried to rebook a test, but I couldn't remember DTCUK name, I then used find me a driving test, who scammed me and didn't find me a test, nor refund me.

The booking experience was good, all went smooth but I was unlucky enough to get Frank Chan as my emergency instructor. First of all he was almost 10 minutes late to our pre-exam lesson. He told me to look out for a car with a banner saying Elephant Driving School and then he arrives without a banner (he installed it after arriving) and he rushed me to go in the car without even a proper greeting. He was a bit weird to say the least, laughing to himself, making fun of my driving, I know I am not the perfect driver, but having someone mocking me next to me when I am driving definitely doesn't help!! Needless to say that I got quite stressed out during this preparatory session that was supposed to be helpful but it wasn't!! Apart from all that, the car he arrived in was a diesel, which I haven't driven before and also it was a 2 door car so it was smaller from the one I was used to, so I needed a bit of practice with the reverse parking and bay parking as the reference points were different - and he couldn't help himself to keep telling me what a terrible driver I was even though I told him I was trying to figure out the new reference points and that I didn't have experience with a diesel before that was a bit harder changing the gears. He just kept mocking me, honestly this is not the way you should treat someone just before a test!... The car was dirty and not pleasant to drive in. I wanted to adjust the side mirrors, but he didn't let me as he said the small blind spot mirrors he installed are all I need and there is no need for further adjustment. Once we practiced as much as we could in the limited time we had we drove back to the test centre, but he didn't time it properly so we were also slightly late for the test (despite the fact I was supposed to be there 5 minutes before) so I could see the examiner being a bit impatient. I tried to compose myself and keep and positive outlook. I failed with 6 minor faults and my major fault was the fact that I missed the bus lane at Mitchell way in Bromley, I had never practiced that part and this is a short bus lane turning left as you approach from Station Road. The reason I am mentioning this is to prove that I am not such a terrible driver! I drove the full test almost 40 minutes even though Frank mocked me and said that I might be back in 5 minutes! Only at the very end after my test Frank told me that I am not such a bad driver, that he thinks I am 6 lessons away from being ready and that he could help me with that. So the only reason he said it was to sell his services to me. Thank you very much but I don't like a teacher that can't stop mocking me during our lesson. This is not the service I paid £159 for. I am very very disappointed and I do believe that if I had a different instructor that day maybe I would have passed my test.

Amazing cancellation service! I haven't passed my test yet but they found a cancellation for me two times within a month and met the requirements that I wanted! Highly recommended!

Managed to book a test with the Cancellation app and I passed. Had an amazing instructor Rani who I felt comfortable with and I would definitely recommend.

I managed to book an early driving test with a cancellation app. My instructor was not available for the test and booked a 1hr practice+car hire from this website. They made the booking very fast and responded my emails quickly (in 30mins). The driving instructor arrived on time. The instructor gave me several useful suggestions for the test. I passed the test :). I recommend this service if you can find an early test day and do not have a car for it.

After reading the most recent reviews, I am actually stunned. I contacted DTC over the weekend with my test on a Tuesday. I got an email an hour after contacting them via their online form, spoke with them about what I needed, was told about the deposit and the price increase if I delayed in securing the booking. This to me is understandable, the more last-minute you book, the higher the price. As this was an emergency booking, I understood this. I paid the deposit via a secure online booking on sunday after 3pm, then got an official booking a few hours later and confirmed with them via a separate email. I was given my instructor's contact details at that time as well and encouraged to contact them. I did, after which she sent me a video to watch which talked through all the Tell me Show me questions for her car. I then was late for my appointment due to a mix up in testing locations, but the instructor was calm, kind and very reassuring. We spent 30 minutes practicing areas I was not confident in and honestly, I learned so much from her in 30 minutes! I think she was the reason I passed on my first go. There are a lot of scam companies out there. However, I was very lucky to find DTC and really appreciate Rani so much!

I had booked them for a driving test car hire about a month in advance. During the day of the test, the "driving instructor" came around 30 minutes late and blamed the traffic for it. I was already stressed. Then he started talking about money and blaming DTC, saying that they get 50% of the cut for making a few phone calls. It was clear that DTC is just operating a website and call freelance driving instructors when a booking comes in. During my 30 mins session, the instructor was on the phone most of the time and 2 of them were from DTC, where they were haggling rates. I didn't have time to get familiar with the controls of the car. I was stressed and annoyed. This didn't help my driving test. Later, when I checked the DVSA website for the driving instructor's name, I couldn't find it! If you are silly enough to hire a DTC car, ask them to provide proof that the person who brings the car is an approved driving instructor and agree with them, in writing, on how much you will reduce in case if the person gets delayed.

I suggest everyone to avoid this company. This is a long story but the baseline is that this company is a fraud and completely scam. They scammed £109 from me and and refused to return this money to steal even more. I called them for a car hire 3 days before my driving test at around 6 pm. They said the price would be £159, bit it would be £199 for me because of the short notice. The person I talked to told me that I had to send a deposit worth £109 immediately to complete the reservations and I did. However, after 1 hour I had something come up and I had to reschedule the test. I immediately sent them an email to do the cancellation just 1 hour after my reservation. I asked a refund and they said the deposit was not refundable and I could use the deposit some other time. They failed to explain not refunding my money as they have never done any preparation for me and I cancelled in an hour. The second story is much more bizarre. I found another driving test. I wanted to book a car for because of the deposit I couldn't get a refund. First, I was told that the fee is £159. However, then they asked £199 just because my initial order was an emergency one. This does not make sense, as my current reservation was not short notice. They clearly wanted to scam me. When I challenge them, they started talking dodgy and in fact his exact response was "That's the way it is". They asked me to pay extra without any logical/legal reasons, just like classic scammers. I decided to never work with them again. The fraud has even become more bizarre, they created reservation, without asking my consent. I was shocked and told them to cancel this. They did not stop and I also received a text from the driver telling me to meet 1 hour before the test, I also explained the driver that I never agreed to work with this company. This is the biggest scammers i have seen. I will make a complaint. For your peace of mind, just do not buy anythings from this fraudsters.

I hired an emergency car with them in September and on the day of the test was one of the most stressful times ever!! I didn’t even want to take the test anymore seeing as they were so late. First hiccup: The instructor Terry didn’t even turn up to my test, instead he sent someone else (who I don’t even think was an instructor). Second hiccup: The person that came with the car was late and so I had only 15mins practise rather than an hour, which was so stressful. 3rd hiccup: When I called the office about this, they just said there’s nothing I can do and didn't refund me anything. They also said I should just pay the person that brought the emergency car what I think will be best not full amount.
