Called them on Thursday around 3pm as my test was the next day on Friday at 9am! I paid them and they found me a driver within less than an hour. Spoke to the driver and he gave me a link to read (show me/tell me questions) and we agreed a time to meet as my test was at 9am! He came to pick me up around 8am and we got straight to it I drove the car (as I was driving he started giving me pointers) to my local Lidl where we did a few manuvers (bay parking, parallel parking). He then gave me a run down on how the test would go, explained the show me/tell me questions, showed me how to put on the fog lights, how to open the bonnet, the dipstick etc (luckily it was a Nissan Nivea which I had driven before). Gave me a few more pointers and we headed to the test centre. The test went very well! Only lasted about 35mins and I passed the test! He then dropped me back at home! Couldn’t have asked for a better service as I had called them the day before my test and it was at 9am! I was definitely skeptical but once I spoke to them on the phone and they found me a driver my nerves were calm! Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a car for a test last minute!!

Anisha is very knowledgeable about the entire process of the practical driving test. She is friendly, and over and above pointing out your mistakes, she will ask for your specific areas for improvement in order to help you succeed with the test. I would encourage my friends (or anyone) to choose DTCUK for this exercise.

This is a scam. Do not go for it. They robbed me of £209! I had the worst experience with DTC UK provided trainer ‘Bill from LSM test hire, at Coventry driving test centre today. He didn't give me a chance to appear for the test. I told him that let them fail me but give me a chance, but he refused. And all this because he had a personal grudge against me. Yes, you may feel that it's my words against the word of driving instructor. But let me put forward my point of view. DTC sent me an email with a phone number. It was not mentioned in the email not to call. When I called that number, the instructor says “why did you call. It's common sense not to call. Are you stupid?” He was arrogant the entire time. I complained about it with DTC. They didn’t change my instructor. So, he took revenge on the test day. He messed up my test. He came for the test with a decision already made against me. And tried everything possible to make me suffer. He gave wrong instructions. He misguided me. He gave wrong road number to follow signs for which didn’t exist there. He gave instructions when I was in the middle of the roundabout. He asked me how many blind spots are there. When I said 2 and explained to him. He said you are absolutely wrong. How did you even dare to come for an exam. I told him about parallel park, bay park, reverse park and emergency stop. He still kept saying you are missing things. You are not ready for the test. I kept convincing him that I can do all this really well practically. But he didn’t give me a chance to do so. For practice of parking, he purposefully took me to an inclined road and busy road. Just so that he could say I have made a mistake. He kept confusing me and disturbing me while I was driving. I used to pause talking to focus on roundabout. He kept pinching why are you not answering. He kept bombarding me with questions but didn't see how I was driving. His focus was to fail me by asking questions but not on how I was driving. He succeeded. He used his power and misused it against me. I was helpless. He was demotivating me for entire 45 minutes. He did not give me the promised 1 hour session. I was polite entire time, but he was rude. Disrespectful. The following are some of his gems: • You're asking for my help. (Whereas we are paying for their services) • Educated people like you how can you act so stupidly. Condition of the car- 1. The clutch pedal was loose. 2. The gear shifting was hard. 3. The car was very very old 4. The car was in a filthy condition and was not maintained well 5. The AC wasn’t switched ON 6. The clutch setting was so bad that I had to pull my foot all the way up to make it move in 1st gear He also asked me to call my instructor from other town right in the middle of session. What's the point of availing this service if they're not allowing you to appear for the test. As I said at the beginning, it’s my word against his word. So, you are free to judge yourself. But I would strongly NOT recommend this service.

I had 7 hours of lessons to refresh before my test and took my test with DTC and I have to say I couldn’t of asked for any better help and support with finding an instructor and getting me test ready and passing!!!

It was really nice experience with DTC. I ask them to help me on such a short notice to get me a car for my driving test and they provided not even a car but also 1hr driving lesson prior to test. I highly recommend DTC to everyone who’s in the process of getting driving license. 😊

First time car hire good experience and good instructor Rani, I passed practical test from my first exam, Nice car and easy to drive, I would recommend.

Had Waquar as my driving instructor. He is such an outstanding driving instructor. His teaching style is very encouraging and makes driving so easy. Learnt new skills in a very short period of time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who want to pass their driving test . It was a great working with him

Despite the pressure mounting on the upcoming day of test, the instuctors were able to put my mind at ease, give me practical pointers that really helped on my test. Their flexability to work around me for prior lessons to stregthen my chances all worked out for the better - as I passed !!. Very trust worthy site, wish i used you sooner.

I had Chris as my instructor he was absolutely amazing! He was so down to earth and was very funny and chatty and that’s what you want when your about to go for your test, I appreciate DTCUK for the help they give me, and I’m very thankful they allocated me to Chris.. Chris you the man! 👍🏻😂

Rani is superb. She is kind, patience and encouraging. She helped to calm my stress before the test. Really thanks for her help to passing the test! Highly recommend!

Booked me in for lessons and car which was needed for the test next day. Smooth process. Big props to Rani who was a massive help as she gave me advice and tips for all my concerns in the two hours we had which helped me get a pass comfortably. Very good instructor for real!

Stuart is a wonderful instructor. He explains things carefully and always with good patience. He helps me really know how to drive on those narrow bending roads as well as the roundabouts with which I felt scared at first. Moreover he has a very humourous personality making me laugh a lot. Time flying fast in his lessons!

They are very professional. E-mails are replied quickly. My instructor Reg is very nice kind person. He gave good advises. I strongly recommend him for lessons as well.

Chris was great, helped me feel calm, showed me potential routes for test in Sidcup, provided handy tips to pass and made me feel comfortable with his car quickly which is key. And I passed!!

Rani is an outstanding instructor. She makes the new driver very comfortable. Her teaching style is always encouraging the learner driver positively yet conveying the necessary details. She always stays cool and does not panic in case you make any mistakes. She carries years of experience and can easily customise the guidance based on the level and maturity of the learner driver. Thanks a lot for guiding and teaching me to get my license, that too on my first attempt.

I used DTC service as I couldn't find a car on my test date they helped me quickly and efficiently to book a car. Mike is one of the best instructors, he helped me alot to revise and make sure everything goes smoothly. Fantastic service and professional instructors!!! Highly recommended 👍👍👍

Absolutely amazing! My usual instructor couldn’t help me on the day of my test he was too busy at short notice so I called these guys and they were fantastic. So easy to book and when I arrived at the test centre Tahira my instructor for the day arrived and we went on an hour lesson before my test. Tahira was amazing she went through everything with myself very thoroughly and gave me the confidence I needed as I was very nervous for my first test especially without my usual instructor. I passed first time and couldn’t have done it without Tahira and these guys! Highly highly recommend! Thank you!
