I have rented a property from DJ Alexander for almost 9 years. I was charged £63 for a cup ring on a bedside table as the only 'issue'. Can you honestly believe that, after 9 years in the property?! They claim that the owner decided this but I would expect the letting agency to manage this much better, if true. In addition, I engaged an end of tenancy clean with a company recommended by DJA for £260. AFTERWARDS I was informed that they were going to do renovation works in the property and so the end of tenancy clean was a waste. Lost over £300 thanks to this nonsense.

Gill looked after our application and was very understanding during the delay in guarantor paperwork being completed

James was very kind, informative and responded fast. I was new to buying in Scotland and James shared contacts to a solicitor, interior designer and builder who have been very good.

I had issue with shower and the maintenance team was so quick to help me out on the same day. Special thanks to Dora Alves as she helped to complete it quick

I had occasion to contact several staff at both Byres road in Glasgow and the John Cotton Centre in Edinburgh by phone and email regarding a rental property and found them uniformly friendly and very helpful. I'd like to give a special mention to Chloe Mitchell who supported us through the latter stages of the tenancy agreement. She responded quickly to all queries, and was both helpful and reassuring, and committed to getting things organised for us (not so easy when one family member was in Thurso!).
