The staff who all helped me with my rental of a property were great, Oliver and Patrick who were responsible for showing me the apartment and helping with the procedures. I particularly want to mention Erin French, based at the Edinburgh office. She was really helpful with the financial procedures - there were moments (often) when I was a bit confused, Erin had tremendous patience and gave me sincere help with all the steps to achieve obtaining the property I wanted to rent. I could not have done it without Erin’s help. Thank you Erin and all the team at DJ Alexander.

I decided to rent my flat out whilst travelling and chose DJs as they were a big name and after meeting one of the sales agents, I thought they seemed great. I honestly had an awful experience with them - over the 6 weeks my flat was marketed, I had to speak and deal with over 7 different people. The flat fell through over 4 times and communication was poor throughout this time. They continually took my flat off the market before a deposit had been paid which led to delays in renting. I switched to another company as a result who found me great tenants within the week. Overall they cost me more than £2000 in lost rent money. Edinburgh has a great market and my flat is a nice 2 bed. There was no apology and they also refused to share their marketing pictures with the new company which caused further delays. I would strongly advise anyone considering using them, not to.

Laura Mctaggart was a great assistance with all of my questions. I received updates and extensive details at every stage of the process. These steps can occasionally be very stressful, but thanks to Laura's detailed directions on what to do next, it became really simple and stress-free.

I had a lovely call from a lady enquiring if my oven had been fixed. Indeed it had been! She was lovely and friendly and asked if everything else in the home was working well, which it is! Amazing customer service! She even told me it may rain later - which prompted me to put an umbrella in my bag! Top marks!
