I have had mixed experience in recent months both within DJ Alexander and through issues outwith our joint control. The member of staff who has given me most support and assistance is Ruth Woodcock. Throughout a fraught period Ruth has been very attentive, has kept me fully informed and is a delight to deal with.

Staff were very helpful, especially Evie hunter, who gets busy with my phone calls and email every time l needed help to finding a suitable property to filling in the application, Evie prompts and talked to the landlord till he accept my application up to the point of completion and approval. Definitely will use their services again.l am looking forward to move in to my beautiful apartment

During a very stressful time having left my home in London and moved to Edinburgh, Holly Southwick was super professional, kind and helpful. She regularly communicated with me and kept me up to date during the process until I finally secured a delightful flat. It is beginning to feel like home now and Holly continues to communicate to ensure that I am happy with everything.

Yasser, James and Abby were so supportive during the sale, especially Yasser, who I had most dealings with. During this stressful time, whenever I had a question or problem, Yasser was very quick to reply. He was always very reassuring which eased any tension I had. Hats off to that wonderful team. I am forever grateful to them.

We have been renting with DJ Alexander for around 7 years now, we are in our second property. Though they are a decent company and for the most part their staff are helpful and polite, if there are more than basic issues at their properties they tend to be more than a little obstructive and in some cases very rude and harsh with their tenants. Lastly they refuse to offer warnings to landlords regarding the suitability of properties, our first place had a next door neighbour so nasty the police were involved in an investigation regarding the neighbours behaviour, as soon as we could afford to we left. Knowing these issues the company raised the rent significantly for the next people coming in and even knowing what it would be like for others they advertised it as great for families. Decent company but once the cracks start to show they can be a little less than great.

I was looking for a flat in Edinburgh and I had a success from just a first viewing. DJ Alexander promptly scheduled a time slot for me and Ellie, property manager, showed me around and was very helpful afterwards during the submission of the application. The application and referencing process went very promptly and smoothly as well, facilitated by application advisor Gill. I am very pleased and look forward for moving in soon.

Received great service from Elaine Thompson who’s absolutely a friendly and helpful person. She did the annual inspection of the property I’m renting and everything went smoothly. Thank you! Also the boiler problem is solved today, it has been quickly replaced by the engineer who was assigned to fix. Happy with service from this agency so far:)

Alexandra was excellent help during the initial stages of the letting process; she replied promptly to all queries and facilitated an efficient, easy, and professional property application process. As a renter, the property support team over the phone were also very kind and responsive.

Very disappointing services. I vacated the house on 6th August 2024. Till today I am chasing these guys to get my security deposit amount. Everytime they are telling that they are working with Landlord to get the details. Its really a pathetic experience. They were not ready to give the keys before making the deposit but now its been more than 3months and still chasing them to get updates. I would suggest dont go the houses letted by this agency.

The maintenance team consistently downplays reported issues, often advising us to "adjust and wait," which can lead to delays of a year or more before anything is resolved—if at all. Many times, we are left to handle repairs on our own due to the lack of support. Additionally, I have concerns about whether these issues are even communicated to the landlord, and their contact information that was not provided in the rental agreement, makes it seem questionable.

The agent Brandon was fabulous in helping us secure our flat! Explained everything very clearly and made us feel extremely positive and welcoming. If we had any concerns Brandon would be the first point of contact to resolve! Well done DJ Alexander great hire!!!
