Easy to use platform, very good value. I have bought and sold only shares and ETFs, and I find the fees very reasonable and the interface is intuitive. There are zero fees for one transaction per month on a list of ETFs. This allows the retail saver access to index funds at zero fees, great.

DeGiro offers a great affordable broker service for retail investors. It is particularly strong in Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and those are probably the most appropriate and suitable for the majority of retail investors. I also find it fine for equities. However, it cannot really properly do bonds, whether corporate or sovereign. If you are looking to invest in bonds then you will need another platform. Setting up an account with DEGIRO is easy and can be done within about 10 minutes.

DEGIRO is a great beginner investing app. It would be even better if they allowed for DRIP, recurring orders, fractional shares and US ETFs.
Excellent platform. I've been using it since 2019 and it holds up in all circumstances. Share categories continually update and a good guide to vols.
