Awesome new cable for my HD25’s very happy

I recently had to return these headphones with a fault and just got them back and wow do they sound good. These are closed back headphones and I can hear individual instruments in separate speakers so good. In truth they have never sounded this good hence my edit of this review. They were so good at Custom Cans I can't thank them enough.

I got a slightly longer headphone cable (2.5m) for freedom of movement and the light but thicker weave is extremely comfortable and doesn't get caught on anything - the sound surprised me with a noticeable improvement in the clarity and stereo image without any fatigue at all on my Arya Organic 'phones driven by the Ayre Codex amp - very similar sound to the exotic Neotec Litz copper cable at huge expense. It did require some time to 'break-in' (over 100 hrs) but that's pretty normal

This company solves problems that products have. Such as my HIFIMAN Edition XS headphones having bad clamp force and being too big. Their headband feels durable and sturdy while solving all the problems I had with it. Though the adhesive provided was not cut properly (Informed In Package) or strong enough, small issue. 3D Printed HiFiMan Sundara closed back ear pad adapter rings assembled and work perfectly. They are more robustly built than the stock. Using them with any 100mm round earpad is possible, although I cut out space for the clips from the slip ring in my ear pads. They seal perfectly this way, and no issues with stability or anything.

He makes good choices in life and researches big ticket items thoroughly. Custom cans had the "fix" to a problem he had experienced with expensive headphones he previously purchased and returned. Small custom order was placed on the Web site, no interaction with a person involved. That worked well ! There was a heads up about wait time, and then a ship notification and useful tracking updates. Custom cable arrived on time, looked just as good as I had hoped and works just as well too. The order came fast by mail. Only thing missing was a confirmation on my purchase. I didn't know if i spend money on this, or waisted it until i got a confirmation mail from Royal Mail that my order was on its way. Felt like a gamble after i payed and didn't hear anything. The order was some spare parts for my Beyerdynamics headset, so not too expensive, but i got the parts in mint condition and i'm happy.

Purchased the DT770 80ohm, with modified drivers and detachable balanced litz cable. Looks absolutely stunning. Sounds excellent, I've owned the DT1990 & the Tp5 2nd gen Beyerdynamics, and I think these hit a really nice sweet spot. I did upgrade the original pads to Dekoni hybrid elites which turns them into an audiophile pillow. The cable is perfect. Very happy
