Very happy with my “gold” twisted wire, the torpedo clicker, and white swag hooks. The gold does read a bit brown as it isn’t metallic, but it blends ok with my modern gold fixtures. I do adore the torpedo switch- it’s so much better than the typical options out there! Customer service was prompt in my inquiry, and shipping was fast.
The white cotton cable and wall fair leads worked great for some ceiling fans I installed!

Swag hook and white cotton cable were just right for centering a hanging light over a table that we had moved and turned 90 degrees. The swag hook's minimalist design -- a tiny cylinder with a set screw to clamp the wire -- is a perfect complement to the simple and clean design of the lamp it now accompanies. Installation was simple -- except the plastic anchor supplied with the hook is an off size. I crept up on it, starting with a hole I assumed would be too small then enlarging it. The plug seems to be between bit sizes because after the hole being too small the next bit in my kit made the hole too big, so the anchor didn't grab. No problem, I had a metal molly bolt on hand. The white cotton cable is easy to work with. I needed to rewire the light as part of swagging it. I wasn't sure if cotton should be in the junction box, so I stripped the cotton from all the wire above the canopy. Good stuff. If I need something like this again, I'll be back.
I only ordered a swag hook for a ready-made pendant fixture I bought elsewhere, but this little thing is a real gem. Perfectly simple and elegant solution for swagging my light. You wouldn't think it would be so hard to find something like this, but no other place had any thing similar that I could find. Only other option that I didn't even like as much had to ship from England. Good job, Creative Cables. Will be back to try building a cable lamp from your great selection of parts.

Moving into a new house with prewired junction boxes, my 11yo son asked about the possibility of a blue light (his favorite color). With a little electrical experience under my belt, including a successful installation of a new ceiling fan in another room, we decided to start researching together. We came across the Creative Cables website and the spider lamp fit the bill. We ordered fifty feet of blue cable, silicone sockets, a ceramic canopy, etc.--and the especially handy cutting tool (highly recommended)!--all the while having my amateurish questions patiently answered by the customer service team.
