I wanted to do something very specific for our dining room lighting and the side port canopy from Creative Cables was the perfect solution to achieve it! It was the only place I could find a canopy like that and the price was great. Also, I expected the shipping to take a week or so but it arrived in two days! So thankful that Creative Cables had the piece that I needed, at a great price, and arrived fast!

Purchased a foot dimmer switch to replace a switch that had failed on a 25-year-old lamp. The switch is well-constructed and was an easy replacement for the old switch.

So far I am pretty happy with my purchase although I am still trying to figure out the dimmer switch as it is not dimming. The cables, cutting tool, and fixtures are pretty nice and the instructional information is ok, but there is room to make some updates to account for the options for installation and the larger cables (e.g. plastic vs metal strain relief). The Swag hook and Ceiling hook and stop is probably one of the worst designs possible it requires the cable without attachments to be threaded through the hook after it is screwed to the ceiling. Then either the plug or the lamp can be attached. I would not recommend it (the "V" hook is way easier to install and hang). Shipping was prompt, and I am waiting to get hosed by FEDEX on brokerage fees (USPS is always less expensive by a significant margin).

Hi Jami, I received my cable in good shape and quickly. The cable has an attractive vintage look with modern insulation inside. Your cable makes a nice upgrade to the vintage toaster I repaired. I did not see this on your website and wonder if you would consider selling lengths or precut bags of clear shrink sleeve that your cable OD’s. My bulk cable came with the woven fabric covering held from fraying by clear shrink sleeve. Having sleeve to put on at the point in the cable length where I need to cut it would be handy. My cloud lights arrived in a timely matter and were just what I needed to finish my little light creation. The color an excellent glow very similar to that of a standard Edison bulb.
