Long story short - holster produce did not fit my pistol. They made a second attempt, but sent the holster the incorrect delivery address after I told them ( they would not/could not change the delivery address) . So no holster, money spent, and somewhere is their second attempt holster. And no telephone number to speak with someone ....... buy American made !
Ordered a holster for my Colt M45 A1 1911 rail gun. Receive the holster and the firearm would NOT fit. It was obvious the holster was for a NON RAIL firearm. In fact it fit my other 1911 non rail pistols perfectly. I requested an exchange for a rail holster. After sending photos and explanations my claim was denied. They said to follow the break in procedures. It would have been like fitting a round peg in a square hole!! I am a licensed FFL holder and owner of a sporting goods company. I have an extensive collection of 1911 pistols and am well versed in 1911 pistols and holsters. Customer service treated me like I was clueless. I have a number of other holsters I need but will NEVER deal with Craft again. I should have stuck with Galco!!
I bought a holster from you guys on 6 April was supposed to be here within 2 to 4 days. It is now 17 April and I still don’t have my holster and I paid for the extra days to get here early.
I gave one star because of customer service. I order a shoulder holster paid 175$. It was to big and I couldn’t adjust it any smaller. I contacted the company via email ( no PHONE NUMBER) I’ve been dealing with this now for 7 business days and still no resolve. If i would’ve know they were based in Europe without a phone number I would’ve never ordered through this company. I have since ordered through URBAN holsters on the phone I was able to speak to someone to make sure what I was ordering will fit properly. Urban holsters has much much better customer service as you can actually speak to someone. I don’t even want to deal with this company anymore. I will keep the big holster and move on as I stated in the email I’ve sent them. Lessons learned Okay I read their response it is auto generated BS Yes, after posting this review I received a phone call, 5 days after I requested that they call me still NO HELP! 1st they said they’d return it, now their telling me it will work for me hahaha ik it doesn’t. They really don’t care about customer service because they know once you buy it you’re stuck. That’s okay I’ve CALLED urban holsters they actually answer the phone direct, helped me with what I needed and should have it by Monday. I will NEVER ever order through this company again. Move on
Did not receive order. No response from customer service.
Would give 5 stars except for three things, 1) I have not actually "used" this holster in the sense of practicing live fire presentation which is the intended use besides an actual defensive encounter, 2) instructions for break in were a little inaccurate regarding time and supplies requirements and 3) the straps are pretty long requiring adjustment to their shortest possible positions. I purchased the recommended break in kit following instructions for a two day break in using all of the supplied fluid but it actually took 3-1/2 total days finishing with Bicks #4 leather conditioner the final day and a half on the insides of the holster and magazine pouches to get a proper snug fit. The inner rotating holster doesn't cant forward as much as I expected after unlocking the retention snap. It rotates about 45 degrees not a full 90 degs for a straight out pull. The retention snap requires practice since due to the design and position it interferes a bit with the grip step prior to the pull. It gets sort of stuck between the index or trigger finger and the trigger guard as it rotates but with practice the interference can be minimized. If you find that too difficult just separate the process in to two steps 1) unsnapping using a knife hand or edge of your firing hand without gripping to clear the strap out of the way, then 2) grip and rotate before the pull. The strap length should be shorter even for a six footer like me. I had to reinstall the screws all the way to their minimum possible positions and was almost tempted to punch extra holes in them to make them even shorter. Overall those are relatively minor hindrances. It fits when adjusted correctly, has the right amount of retention for my taste once broken in well, and allows for a correct full grip, with practice, prior to the pull compared to my previous nylon fabric "one size fits most" shoulder rig so I don't need to waste time adjusting my grip after the pull. Overall this will be a satisfactory platform for carrying a full size Glock Gen 4 G20. Glad for the purchase, price and quality. One final positive note - delivery was nearly three weeks ahead of schedule which I'm sure was no small feat this time of year.
This is my 3rd Holster and it is Perfect like the first two. I could not ask for anymore the area of retention. What a great job. It looks like the laid my gun down and built it around it. The stitching is beautiful. I am going to order two more. I have 5 carry guns because of the seasons and dress. Then I will get two for my wife. At Craft they are wonderful to talk to. I highly recommend this company. Dan Randall
Simply the best holsters I've ever found. I bought 3 of them so far, and will certainly be ordering more very shortly. Buy with confidence! The wait is worth it for these gems...👍
As a retired police officer I have carried on and off duty handguns for over 30 years. I only recently learned of craft holsters when I was looking for a holster for my Glock 19 with a TLR 7 tactical light. Craft holsters came up in a Google search and I decided to try a right side 0WB holster, it was great! Since then, I have purchased a cross draw and shoulder rig for the Glock. A right side OWB and cross draw holsters for my Smith and Wesson model 19, Smith and Wesson 380 bodyguard, and Smith and Wesson model 60. when I ordered the cross draw holster for the Smith and Wesson 357 magnum, I also ordered a belt holder for a set of speed loaders. After I placed the order, I realized that I had accidentally selected magazine holders. I sent craft holsters an email explaining my mistake, they corrected the order immediately and three days later I had the entire order. For craftsmanship, quality, price, and customer service, you simply cannot do any better than Craft Holsters!
the quality of my new shoulder holster is outstanding. also craft holster customer service has been very polite and helpful.
The company was responsive and even contacted me about an order that did not seem correct. It was clarified and all is great. The holsters are absolutely stunning and very well made as well as looks great on or off your belt.
Holster was like a cheap piece of leather folded and stitched at the back. Appeared to be formed but not sure to what. Retention strap was floppy and wouldn’t break excess material on the strap kept pushing off the safety. Had better holsters from the toy isle when I was a kid.
Beautiful Italian leather, perfect fit, and fast shipping. What more could you want in a holster? If you’re thinking about a new holster you won’t go wrong with this one.
excellent quality and workmanship , the holster fits like a glove
I have purchased MANY holsters and a few magazine pouches since discovering Craft Holsters. Historically I bought Bianchi or Galco brands. The quality of craftsmanship from Craft rivals them all and the designs of differing types are superior in variety! For example, the selection of cross-draw holsters is almost available for ANY pistol or revolver. My personal favorite design is the 3-in-1 (look for yourself). I have had two instances where the "fit" was wrong for a Glock 36 pistol and a Sig-Sauer P-227 mag.-pouch. Admittedly, both pistols are not so common. In the first case what was sent was for a Glock 30sf. In the other case I honestly think the wrong piece was selected to ship to me. In BOTH instances their customer service asked for pictures of the poorly fitting pieces. Within one business day after sending the pictures I had a response with a resolution. In one case I was given a store credit and in the other a custom replacement piece is being sewn as I type this review. And by the way, once the determination is reached they allow you to keep the "mistake" COMPLIMENTARY. In my experience since discovering Craft Holsters I'm going to them first with any future new gun purchases without question. Well done Craft Holsters!
Holster was of excellent craftsmanship. Material and stitching didn't have any noticeable flaws. Fit to pistol near perfect, only had to leave pistol in holster for 2-3 hours and then slide in and out easily. Only problem I found was the thumb break snap was too tight. Easily fixed with a jewelry file and some sand paper. I would highly recommend Craft Holsters and intend on buying from them again in the future.
I now own 3 Craft Holsters. The quality is superior to your holsters typically found for high prices in the big box stores. The price is matched to their quality. Every holster I purchased fit to the gun without any shaping needed. The guns were snug, yet easy to draw. Highly recommended!
Very helpful Customer Service, particularly in properly sizing the holster. Fine craftsmanship. Perfect in every manner. I will be a repeat customer.
Terrifically crafted old fashioned leather and a perfect fit for the pistol! Very pleased and will order again!
Craft holsters has been great. I asked if they could customize a holster to fit supressor height sights and they told me no problem. They even reached out after I ordered the holster to make sure they were making exactly what I needed. After receiving the holster I have to say that the fit is great, break in was a breeze and the quality seems excellent. I couldn't be more pleased with this holster.
