I ordered a couch online, but when I remeasured the room, I quickly realized the couch would not fit. I immediately contacted customer support to cancel the order and received an email that someone would get back with me in 10 minutes which did not happen. It was the weekend, so I reached out again on Monday leaving a phone message and another email. On Tuesday, I spoke with a customer service representative who confirmed that she cancelled my order, the couch would not be shipped and my credit card would be refunded. Today, Wednesday, I received an email from Coddle that the couch is on its way. The furniture looks lovely. It just will not fit in to my room. What I don’t understand is why I received nothing more than automated responses promising someone will reach out to me and never a phone call or meaningful email response, And even worse that the couch is going to be shipped to me despite the customer service representative assuring me that the order was canceled.
Recently purchased a coddle switch and it is very convenient for my flat. It's very comfortable especially with a mattress topper to sleep on and I can fold it and utilize space efficiently. I haven't had any issues; installation was a breeze.
We bought the new storage ottoman for our living room and love it. It's just the right size, and we store all our blankets in it. We leave one section in "coffee table mode" and other other in "ottoman mode" but both look great.
I bought the sectional sofa for our bonus room and love it! Great quality, easy to use, and looks wonderful. The kids are always using the convertible feature for movie night. I saw they're in Costco now too!
I recently got the Coddle convertible couch and it's been a nice addition to my apartment. I like the simple, modern look, and the neutral color fits in well with the rest of my stuff. I like how you can switch between a sofa, chair, or bed...it's really easy. It’s perfect for when I have friends staying over. The price was great, so I was worried about quality but the cushions are comfy and the memory foam feels good whether I’m sitting or lying down. The built-in USB ports are a cool bonus too. It’s handy to charge my phone without needing to get up and find an outlet. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, and the company has been great to deal with – quick shipping and friendly customer service. If you’re short on space and need something flexible, this sofa is worth considering.
I've had my Coddle Switch for just under 4 years now (bought it in December 2020) and I was super happy when I first got it. Assembly was a snap. And the chocolate leather looks beautiful. When I placed the order, I was vacillating between the leather and the fabric, and figured the leather would be easier to keep clean with my small child in the house. Alas, it was not designed to be beautiful forever. Maybe about a year in, the first couple of cracks began to appear. They were small, and I honestly blamed it on my child at first. I bought one of those liquid leather repair kits and filled them up. Then the cracks kept coming. And coming. And coming. Less than 2 years later I had to start covering the seat with a blanket because I'm literally embarrassed by how this looks. I did some research and found that the leather is more of a pleather, and it was just never going to last. I wish I had bought the fabric one. 4 years in and yeah it feels comfortable still. But it looks like a serial killer took a knife to it, and I'm about to break down and replace this thousand dollar futon on sheer principle because the blanket never stays on. The matching pillows I bought also look similarly horrible. Never again am I using this company, even if they cut their prices in half. Coddle, $1000 is too much to charge for something that will fall apart that fast and where the pillows cost extra.
I have been speaking with someone in customer service for almost 3 months now since I missed the deadline to return my couch. They only give you 30 days to return. Fair. But I did not know this. I went out of town and called when I would be back in town hoping someone would pick up the couch quickly. It's been 3 months and it's still in my house unused. It's highly uncomfortable, poorly designed, and buying this thing has been the worst furniture decision I have ever made in my life! Do not buy the Switch sofa. Highly uncomfortable and the company is so unconcerned about making it right for their customers. The couch costs too much money for it to just be sitting in my living room taking up space and collecting dust. Customer service is trash and the people who decide on returns are heartless people. I'm sure they are so strict with the 30 day returns because they know how crappy their product is. If they gave more time, more people would be returning and they would lose money. Scam artists who are peddling an awful product!
I bought a king size Pixel platform bed. And coddle customer service was wonder throughout the entire experience. Everything went smoothly in the beginning, and every month I made a payment everything went well without any problems, they were also quick to answer not having to wait forever to speak to someone. All in all a wonderful experience. I give them 5 stars and usually I don't do that because there'salways room for learning but in my experience everything went so well I would totally recommend them to friends and family without a doubt.
I've had my toggle couch for approximately 2 years. The couch squeaks when transitioned to a bed. Very annoying for a $1000 piece of furniture.
So I got a couch from them a couple years ago and I absolutely love it. My dog does too, so much so that he decided to take a few bites. I called their customer service and they said they will send me some swatches so I can repair it, which is greatly appreciated and I’m honestly very impressed
6/15/22 My second Coddle purchase wasn’t as smooth as the first. Because White Glove delivery unfortunately wasn’t an option, I had to use the only provided Threshold delivery service in my area. The delivery service stated that they would not bring my Couch up one flight of stairs, and wouldn't budge on their Friday delivery days. I work every Friday, therefore no one would be able to receive my purchase. They told me that Fridays were the only day that they were in my area. In the end, I was unable to receive the couch that I really wanted, and had to cancel my $2000 purchase. I reached out to customer service several times, but no one answered. If you don’t live on the first floor and/or don’t have a service elevator in your apartment, don't waste your time purchasing a coddle couch. Un-Happy Coddle Customer😩
Absolute trash customer service. No response whatsoever to phone-calls, voicemails, emails, social media contact, etc. For weeks. Clearly a bunch of scam-artists who managed to scrounge enough cash together to create a plausibly decent site to lure you in.
While it is a comfortable couch, I have had the Toggle for just over a year and the leather is cracking all across the seat and outlets work intermittently, at best. It is my main couch, so it gets daily use, but I've never seen such an expensive product go bad so quickly. If you use your couch more than rarely, AVOID THESE! They are of such poor quality material!
Awful. Our Coddle couch is only two years old and the leather is coming apart in multiple places. The outlets have ceased to work. We have emailed and called customer service multiple times and it seems to not exist. Nobody has reached out. DO NOT BUY, unless you like replacing your couch every two years. SCAM.
I ordered a switch sofa several weeks ago. It was supposed to be delivered in August, but the delivery personnel came and realized they would need a 3rd person to get the couch up the stairs. They reschedule for the following week, and don't show up. They reschedule, then call the day of delivery and say they don't have a 3rd person and won't be coming. I've taken three days off work to wait at home for this couch and ...still no couch.
Couch was great to begin with but its been 4months and its unbearable to lay on now. the cushions don't cover the metal frame in the middle sufficient.
love my Toggle and Switch couches! I ended up buying a toggle and a switch in their grey/'dove' color. The fabric and quality of the couch is surprisingly amazing for the price. My dogs throw themselves onto the couch, and the fabric holds up well. And since the dogs track dirt on it, it was surprisingly easy to clean and maintain. We're still outfitting the house, so I'm excited to get a few more pieces from Coddle.
I purchased a Crimson Leather Toggle Convertible Sofa by Coddle in May 2019. By January of 2020 I had a rare defect that I see no one writing about. Some of the leather began to separate and tear like a 10 year old leather sofa left in the sun. I wrote Coddle and asked if they know of a repair kit. They requested pics. Upon review they, they agreed this is a rare instance. They offered an exchange without me asking. After a few more email exchanges and about 30 days total time, I am now writing this from my new sofa. I love my sofa and I am very satisfied as I was not expecting an exchange. Coddle stands behind their product and warranty. I am currently converting a garage into a guest suite. When this is finished later this year, I won't be shopping around for any sofa options. I will be buying another Toggle Convertible Sofa from Coddle for that suite. I also own their mattress topper and memory foam bed. I am satisfied with all products and their customer support.
The couch is really nice. The power plugs are really short though. Might need an extension cord for it, unless you're really really close to an outlet. Delivery took 2weeks. The box is big and heavy. The couch is comfortable and durable overall. I highly recommended getting one if you can
I ordered the couch online in September 2020. It was delivered about 3 weeks later. I think it's a beautiful couch and it seems very well-made and durable. I look forward to having it for many, many years. I have not plugged it in to use the USB ports so I can't comment on the functionality of that. I have a pet rabbit and don't want to risk her chewing a cord.
