More guidance in getting the documents entered would have been helpful. Chat and email are the only communication options and the replies were not always within the time limits stated. Once everything was entered, it was smooth sailing.

Too slow process
I had 3 different agents. It took 5 plus days to clear.
Took far too long to respond. Not good communication. I had to initiate dialogue every time.
Very slow, impossible to contact aside from online system. We were thinking the first time would be painful, but the second time was equally painful. Not sure the type of business you're going after but I don't know how this could be sustainable. =
Needed to expedite a customs broker to import material from Italy. Super easy to do with ClearIt and communication done right through the online dashboard. Super happy with their service.
Takes a little time to get paperwork together, proof of origin, US customs invoice, PAPS #, BOL and Pro#, and power of attorney. From knowing nothing to do this is took me a few days from start to finish, but crossed the border with no issues!

As a first-time, private individual, many of the terms used in the online document requests are unfamiliar. Plus, one has to provide tax ID numbers and power of attorney. So, high risk identity information, plus the unfamiliar terms for shipping documents make the process scary. The potential for errors is high, along with costs and time delay. There was no information to guide first time users. In the end, my shipment arrived as expected.
Not being able to speak with somebody is a real burden.
I am a first time user. I was a bit concerned not being able to speak directly with a person by phone, however once I navigated thru the required documents the entry went very smoothly. I could not locate a blank commercial invoice form to fill out for this shipment on the web site. Something you might want to consider. My shipment was a bit unusual as the items being imported into the USA were going to be serviced and returned to me in Canada.
