I used them to clear a container of my personal items that shipped to Houston. They would not (or the people running the chat could not) communicate anything to me. I told them 3 months before it arrived that I was a regular person and needed to load a rental truck with my items to drive it home. I asked multiple times for clarification on it would work, how I would get access, what the logistics were, what it would cost, ... They told me 3 days before it was due to land at the port that they had to deliver it to a commercial business and I couldn't actually get it myself (luckily the budget rental, Randy at EASTEX was super helpful!). They told me nothing else about how it would work until the day before they tried to deliver it. Also, the initial quote was for about $300 to clear it, but it ended up being almost $2,000 and again they did not communicate any of the costs til a few days before they wanted payment. I'm not sure if another company would have done better - I do understand that most people doing this are shipping companies rather than private parties, but it was very stressful and way more expensive than it should have been for the little work they did.
Last two years I am there client. So far no problem. They are very professional. I will give them 5 stars.

Still do not know where my shipment is. The US Customs refused it. There is a seriously deficient lack of instructions and face-to-face and even virtual communication. 'Milton' takes up to 36 hours to reply to a message and it is impossible for a face-to-face communication, where the issues could have been resolved quite easily. I would like to see this shipment project completed. Thank you for your assistance. Keith S.

"Live" chat doesnt appear to be live at. It take hours to receive a reply as a matter of fact I've been waiting two days since my last message to receive a reply in regards to a charge to my credit card.
I use Clearit for all of my customs releases for items I import. They are VERY quick and typically get my cargo cleared within a few hours. I've used them at least 30x already. I highly recommend them!
The transaction started out great. Happy with the service early. However, my freight was delivered to its destination and I supplied all the information Clearitusa requested throughout the process. Turns out they never submitted the information for the customs release. After about a week and submitting multiple live chat requests, they contacted me saying they needed to verify the information. I verified and paid the invoice immediately. Once again, no response. The destination warehouse has had it for so long that they want paid daily. I called, live chat, no response. I have wasted two days because the freight can not be picked up without the documentation.
I bought a electric front end loader from Alibaba, and DID NOT do my homework on what else is needed to get it to the US. I started to try to do it my self and after getting VERY frustrated, I contacted Clearit and was helped quickly and attentive to all my concerns. My shipment is in the middle of the Pacifc ocean now, my understanding Clearit's work isn't done?

its the worst broker i have ever seen You have to keep giving them info have have to literally ask them to check the email and the staff they are terrible they made me pay fine in the port for the mistake they made get somebody else if you really need help but not clearit
