Look elsewhere.... I had a very disappointing experience with Citation. I had expected a high level of professionalism, but unfortunately, they did not deliver. What was particularly troubling was their lack of transparency and accountability. At the outset I was led to believe by Citation that the process they were managing would give me full access to information they collected. However this did not happen and this not only caused frustration but also made it difficult to trust them moving forward. They also told me I had no direct route to complain to management. If you value professionalism and honesty, I suggest looking elsewhere. On reading your reply please contact me if you are genuinely interested in my negative feedback of your service. It is disappointing that you have a posted a reply which makes incorrect assumptions without any attempt by Citation to fully understand my experience.

Stephen was very personable and explained things clearly and concisely and provided us with all of the information we needed.

Dear Citation Team, Thank you for your response outlining Citation’s commitment to working with small business clients before resorting to legal action. However, based on my experience since April, there has been minimal indication of any genuine attempt at negotiation or flexibility on your part to address the financial challenges I have repeatedly communicated. When I initially reached out in April to discuss our financial difficulties, I expected a constructive response or at least a conversation around possible options. Instead, I was met with inflexible demands for immediate payment. I have continued to request support, but rather than showing signs of negotiation or offering any reasonable adjustments, the only responses I received were urging me to settle payments as soon as possible. For instance, in a recent email from your Credit Control Team Leader, I was told: "Whilst I appreciate your current situation, there is nothing we can do regards the contract whilst the account is in arrears by 2 months (£761.20) and you have cancelled your direct debit. Your account has now been placed on hold and I urge you to make payment a.s.a.p towards the arrears." This response does not reflect any real attempt to discuss alternative solutions or provide options to ease the immediate financial burden. Given that Citation claims to engage in a 7-8 week period of direct communication to reach a resolution before legal action, I ask that you provide evidence of any such efforts in our case. From my perspective, there has been no attempt to discuss affordable options, contract adjustments, or a tailored solution that could accommodate my business's financial limitations. Instead, I have been repeatedly urged to make immediate payments without any flexibility. If Citation is genuinely committed to helping small businesses like mine through tough periods, I urge you to consider implementing that approach here. I hope we can begin a sincere conversation to explore options that will allow us to meet our obligations sustainably. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I had a heath and safety audit this morning with Shane. I will admit that I was nervous as this was the first one I'd ever had. Shane put me at ease straight away and I was. Impressed at the range of knowledge that he has. Some great point were made and conveyed in a way to easily understand how to implement. I will look forward to working with Shane again in the future.

Chris was very thorough and professional throughout the visit. He spent time answering any questions we raised with him and made useful comments and suggestions when checking paperwork, audits and premises. A very useful and productive time spent with Chris. Thank you.

Unfortunately I had to chase for a response but once picked up by Darell he did a great job and sorted out the issue out immediately.

They have a great sales team that will lure you into signing up for a long time, giving you security and peace of mind and all that sales pitch. Don't have an issue with that actually so bought into a 3 year contract which we were happy with. On the face of the contract it clealy says 36 month term... Pay attention to para 2(c) in the T&C's where it then states that while it is a 36 month contract, if you don't give 6 months notice of cancellation before the end of the 36 months you are then in for another 36 months! What happended to the 36 month term I signed up for?? You cannot get out of the contract, only option is to pay the full amount or maybe they will give you a 25% discount. They are unashamedly predatory on people because they do NOT at any point in time mention the notice period, they know exacly what they are doing by hiding it in the T&C's, otherwise they would just put it on the front of the contract where it is easy to see and people understand exactly what they are in for. Why do you need to give 6 months notice, surely for this type of service 1 month is more than sufficient?? Predatory. Why don't they clearly state the notice period of 6 months on the front of the contract?? Predatory Why do they still charge for the full contract when no services will be performed?? Greedy and Predatory You can't tell me that they need the money to cover costs because the primary costs in their business are people and I can guarantee you that the people working for them do not have 36 month notice periods in their employment contracts, I would imagine more like 30 days. So, I am closing my business and have to pay a lump sum to exit. I asked for the lump sum to be calculated, it was sent to me, it was wrong. I asked for it again, it was sent and it was wrong again, I have now found out that they have been charging me incorreclty for the last 36 months, I have queried it and......silence!! Because Citation is a process driven business I am thinking that they have done the same to others and my query has highlighted the fact that they have billed extra to many clients in error, the webste says they have 50,000 clients.. DO NOT SIGN UP WITHOUT UNDERSTANDING THE T&C'S. CITATION WILL PROVIDE YOU ADVICE BUT THEY WILL SINK THEIR PREDATORY CLAWS INTO YOU AS WELL. I have noticed that they have been exposed in the press about this previously, if you look at all the 1 star reviews it will be a similar thread. Q : if a company receives 5% of their ratings as a 1 star review and the reviews are all complaining about the same thing back many years then would you not change that thing..??? A : Absolutely - except if you were going to make loads of money out of it and prey on your clients.

We had our H&S inspection which was done by Kevin Forth. Kevin was very knowledgeable and gave us some great tips. We will definitely use Kevin in the future.

Completed our onboarding with Tom Beckett, he was very supportive and made the onboarding as interesting as possible!

Christian completed another annual audit with us and was professional and diligent in his approach, providing a quick turn around of our inspection report and updating our policy! Great support!

We had our annual Health and Safety visit from Glenn, our consultant, this week. We always find these visits really helpful as he is so knowledgeable and keen to help us to maintain a gold standard of H&S. If only the rest of Citation were as efficient, but this rating is for his visit alone.

I was nervous about the Atlas training as I'm not the most confident when it comes to tech, but Marie was fabulous, patient and knowledgable. Marie went through all that I needed to know as well as answering my questions, her confidence, gives me confidence to be able to use Atlas. And to know I'm just a click or call away from help, is very reassuring.

Had to contact the support team at Citation for general assistance and had a teams meeting with Tom Beckett who help me with an issue I was experiencing. Tom was very helpful and talked me through a resolution to fixing my issue.
