This is an excellent site for selling unwanted books. The process was easy & I received a payment fairly quickly. My only complaint would be the number of books they wouldn't buy. My daughter, my mom, & I are all avid readers & between the 3 of us we have close to 1000 books. Each of us cleaned out our bookcases excited to sell the books we didn't want or read. Much to our disappointment each book we tried to sell was turned down. We put in every single book that we own even if it was a book we did not want to sell just to see if they would buy any of them. Out of 1000 books of an extremely wide variety only one of them was accepted & purchased for $9. I was excited when I found this site since I love to read but always end up with books that are read once but will never be read again or I can't get interested in a book & only read the first few pages but never finish, I also receive books as gifts that I'll never read. It would be so much better if they would purchase more books because 1 out of 1000 really disappointed me. The entire process for selling the book was very easy & I didn't have any problems with the 1 book we sold.

I sent them multiple pictures from my book (pictures from cover and inside the book). They told me my book is good enough and I can sell it to them. I followed their instructions and mailed in my book. After they received the book, they said it is not in good shape and they can't buy it, which is OK with me. In their email they said I have one month to ask for book to be returned to me, and I should pay the return cost, which is still OK with me. However, they don't respond to my emails on how to get my book returned, and pay for return shipping. I have contacted them multiple times and really feel ripped off : (

I feel if a book is not accepted, it should be sent back by C4B and I should not have to pay for it. This is ridiculous.

Pricewise, I got 1 book for way more than the other sites, but a few more for just a little less. Overall fair price for buybacks. They send you a free label, I think it's for the slowest shipping, but once they receive your books the check is in the mail the next day!

It takes a while for thd books to get to them and for you to get your payment, but it's worth it. The textbooks are out of my hands and I got some money for them!

Wonderful experience, just a great business.

I was very hopeful that my experience with Cash4Books would be a five start experience, but they rejected a textbook after agreeing to accept it and are asking me to pay if I want it back. I'm not sure if they are paying me for the remaining books, which were sent at the same time. I am giving them 3 stars instead of 1 or 0 because they label printing was very user friendly and straightforward.

I used multiple book sellers to sell my old textbooks. I sent all of the books on the same day. Cash4books is the only one that has not even acknowledged receipt of the books (others have already sent the checks!)

I sent my books in after receiving my quote. I got paid immediately through paypal with the same quote promised. Reliable service. Just be sure to send good quality books without water damage and such. Make sure you do your research bc other book companies may offer better prices than others. Good job Cash4books

I sent my books in the first time and they got returned all messed up. Then I sent them back and it says cancelled, so I don't know what is going on, but I want my money

Books should be read and not kept on the shelf gathering dust regardless of how much you enjoyed them or the intent to read them again, which generally never happens. You can donate them, which is wonderful, but if they are in good shape, why not get some cash for them? Cash4Books makes it so easy. You immediately know what they will pay you for your books and they take care of the shipping. You just have to box them up and drop them off. Within days you'll have your money to buy new books or something else.
