Was able to sign up at my dentist for same day discount!! My only con was there was no discount for nitrous
Careington does not live up to their name. They convinced me to keep them a few more months just in case I need their services then they will let me know before I am charged. They charged me in March on the 8th so I cancelled and they keep telling me the money is going to be refunded. Really it takes a month to give a refund? It is disgusting that companies rip people off. I'm disabled I need my money to make ends meet. Looks like it is going to be Ramen for most of this month.
I enrolled in the Careington Dental 500 Plan for myself and my spouse. I called customer service and they did not have any information on my spouse which I entered online when I enrolled. I gave my spouse's information and am waiting to see her name on the plan. The plan online stated "Member plus one" and my plan cards are correct with my name & "dependent" but I do not see any indication that she is covered. Hoping to hear from Careington that all is taken care of and that this issue is resolved. Other than this glitch, I am happy that I signed up for this coverage.

I bought Carrington 500 March 8. Today is March 21. I still haven't received my membership card.
We have had Careington for many years. They are cheaper than dental insurance and the prices you pay out of pocket seem similar even if you would have insurance.
Fast shipment of my card. I have not used the discount plan yet, but my dentist does accept this and states it will be cheaper than my senior discount.
Why do none of your customer service numbers work?
Having this plan has saved me so much money! I am so grateful and blessed to receive the benefits from this program.

I've been paying for a plan that nobody seems to be able to figure out anything accept they're stealing my money. The plan was originally purchased with a different company that Careington bought out or bought their plans. Only problem is, every time I call I get a DIFFERENT member ID and not one in 2 years has been correct. According to their MyPortal I don't exist. Each time I call customer service I get referred to a different entity that refers me back to. It's a scam. Worthless. They just steal your money.
I've used Careington since February 2023. It's been a complete disaster. It took 8 months for a routine claim in February to be processed. My dental office submitted the claim monthly but nothing happened for 8 months. Then, it was done incorrectly. I've been trying since September to get this corrected. The address is wrong on my account, many phone calls and hours later, the address is still wrong. My EOBs are not available online to me nor are they mailed to me, or if they are mailed, I don't receive them because the address is wrong. Many phone calls and hours later, I still don't have a copy of a corrected EOB. The website changed sometime in August and I was told I was going to the wrong site to get my info. Today I was told this info was incorrect. I'm giving up. This company is is not worth all the aggravation.
