I ordered two backpacking tents and was very pleasantly surprised to receive notification that the order had been processed and the tents despatched on the same day. Two days later the courier delivered the tents. Excellent.
Easy to use site, found what I needed & it was delivered on time.
Fast efficient and very helpful, we haven't tested our tent out yet but I'm sure it'll be fine.

Recently bought a Coleman stove from this company - a good brand so I had confidence in the product when I ordered. It arrived and I tried it at home, seemed to work fine. A few days later at the campsite, it wouldn't light. I couldn't get it going despite following the instructions to the letter, and a huge amount of patience. Rang campingandcaravandirect and explained the issue. The member if staff on the phone spoke over me, and basically told me it was my fault because I didn't know how to light it - they've sold thousands apparently, and they are all fine so it must be me. He was aggressive and I thought pretty rude. Their returns policy is the absolute minimum required un the law - I am now expected to cover the postage to return a faulty item, and if it proves to be faulty, they will refund me - but I have to be out of pocket in the meantime. Overall, a very poor experience. I am £100 down and I would not deal with this business again.

We ordered in our tent late one night and it arrived a day later!!! Had we known it would be that quick we would have had it delivered to the campsite in the IOW!!
